Truth matters. In my working life, we live and breathe data integrity. We ask: is every word and number we put down true to the best of our knowledge? We obsess over “source” documents, and we sometimes take weeks/months to hash out wording or a particular number so that it cannot be construed as “misleading”. I love my work and I think my team is a shining example of truth tellers to the max. It is very disappointing when other so-called truth tellers (mainstream media) cannot or have no interest in upholding this simple but sometimes difficult standard. Journalism is not what it used to be, for the exception of a very few independent media outlets. Being the first one out the gate is not sysnonymous with excellence for me. If anything, it makes me and other free thinkers deeply suspicious of your methods, selective omissions, and intentions (looking at you, NY Times-Breaking News, BBC News). When blame is heaped on Israel at every turn, only for the truth to emerge some hours, days or weeks later that: Israel was not at fault. It is highly suspicious. I am sure many excellent investigative journalists would agree that most “journalism” these days resembles mediocre creative writing with low journalistic integrity. If you can’t susbtantiate something, you shouldn’t say it. Your headlines may be eye-catching, but if they are so often misleading, then that’s a disservice to your readers and it is a disgrace to your own profession. End rant. Shavua tov! Have a great week to all the truth tellers. 🇮🇱🇺🇸🥰

Barbara Streisand is honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the SAG Awards and gives a moving speech: "The people who built this industry, ironically were escaping their own troubles. They were all fleeing the prejudice they faced in Eastern Europe simply because of their religion. And now I dream of a world where such prejudice is a thing of the past."
