🎉 Hosting a Holiday Party? 🎉 The holiday season is a wonderful time to gather with friends, family and colleagues! Here are some tips to help you plan a safe and worry-free celebration. 🍹 Monitor and limit alcohol intake: Offer plenty of non-alcoholic options so guests have choices. Designate a sober host or bartender to help monitor drinks. Encourage designated drivers or arrange for transportation options like taxis or ride-shares. Serve a variety of snacks and meals to balance alcohol intake. Let guests know they can reach out if they feel uncomfortable or unwell and offer a place for them to rest if necessary. 🚶 Keep pathways clear and safe: Declutter spaces and secure rugs or cords to prevent tripping. Light up entryways, stairs, and exits for easy visibility. If you have outdoor areas, keep pathways well-lit, salted and clear of ice and snow. Provide warm blankets and set up a warming area if guests will be outside. 🎄 Stay safe and celebrate responsibly! Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃 As we gather with family and friends to celebrate, let's remember how the holiday hustle and bustle can affect our pets. Changes in routine, unfamiliar guests, and tempting smells can create stress or lead to unwanted behaviors. Here are some tips: 🐾 Provide a Safe Space - Set up a quiet, cozy area where your pet can retreat if the festivities feel overwhelming. 🐾 Manage Greetings - Meeting new people can be stressful for some pets. Let them skip greetings and relax in their safe space instead. 🐾 Reward Calm Behavior - Use treats or toys to reinforce calm, relaxed behavior during the commotion. 🐾 Manage Temptation - Place food and decorations out of reach to prevent counter-surfing or chewing on unsafe items. 🐾 Stick to Their Routine - Keep mealtimes, walks, and playtime as consistent as possible to reduce stress. Wishing you and your pets a joyful day! 🐕🐾 #Thanksgiving #PetSafeFoods #PetSafety
