Outdoor advertising started 174 years ago today. What seems old, is new again as we're working with brands at OneScreen.ai who are using out-of-home ads to compliment their digital only spends because costs are rising and its harder to break through digital ad fatigue. It's fun hearing ways customers use OOH for: 🚚 ABM efforts putting mobile trucks outside their key prospects offices. 🪧 Brand campaigns when they want to earn market share in specific cities. 🛑 Ambush marketing at a fraction of the cost of a conference sponsorship. Back when OOH started, there was no tracking website lift, mobile phone IDs for who saw your ad and no Call to Action to scan a QR Code. Outdoor ads have changed, and its a true mix of science and art for marketers. The #oohmarketing industry is changing, so here's to another 174 years.
