As business leaders, we’re often reminded of the need for inclusive recruitment practices, but what does inclusivity mean? Is your recruitment process genuinely accessible to everyone? Is it designed with accommodations in mind? Have you ever considered how unconscious bias could be holding your organisation back? According to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, by limiting opportunities based on perceptions rather than possibilities, people with disabilities can experience lower labour force participation and higher unemployment rates compared to those without disabilities.
