🇮🇳 Happy Independence Day Everyone ! 🇮🇳 It feels amazing to re-create journeys of company culture and get the team together for something special that stays in our heart always as a memory. This Independence Day, we celebrated in a way that felt truly us. From the vibrant ramp walk where our teams and individuals got to shine, to the fun and engaging skits that brought everyone together, it was a day full of energy, creativity, and connection. What I love most about days like this is how they reflect who we are at Eloelo . Our commitment to innovation, ownership, and going above and beyond isn’t just something we talk about—it’s something we live, even in the way we celebrate together. It’s moments like these that remind me how special our culture is. We’re more than just colleagues; we’re a community that supports, inspires, and grows with each other. Here’s to many more shared moments and to the freedom that allows us to dream and achieve together. We had an incredible panel awarding our winners with some special surprises- Kushal Singhal Anmol Agarwal and Nishant —Thank you for being the coolest judges and bringing so much excitement to the event! And a big congratulations to our winners—Dimple Motwani and Omkar Dharmesh your participation truly made the event even more beautiful. This weekend, I saw a wonderful movie: #TheSocietyofSnow, a gripping drama that delves into the harrowing true story of a Uruguayan rugby team whose plane crashes in the Andes Mountains in 1972. Stranded in the merciless snow with limited resources, the survivors are pushed to the brink of human endurance. The film explores many themes: from survival to camaraderie, and particularly the human spirit's resilience in the face of unimaginable adversity. But there is a moment that really struck me, at 1:50, when Nando and Roberto reach the top of the mountain and realize that to reach Chile, they need 12 days ... if they are lucky! For Roberto, this means: "We are dead." For Nando, instead, this means: "We are so close." In response to Nando's request to follow him, Roberto says, "You are asking me to die with you," and Nando replies, "I am asking you to come with me. Look. See those two peaks in the middle like a pair of titties? There's no snow there. You see it? This is Chili. Can you see it?” “I do” Roberto will reply and we all know the end of the story. This scene made me think of critical role of vision not only in charting our own journey but also in illuminating the path for others. In life as in business. Our perspective might reveal opportunities and triumphs where others perceive only obstacles and defeat.  In the realm of business, the articulation of a company's Mission, Vision, and Purpose is not a one-time endeavour but a dynamic process that demands regular review, adjustment, and clear communication. It's a constant reminder that success is a collective journey, not a solitary one. We must cultivate and share a compelling vision that inspires our team to embark on challenging treks, even if it means navigating through metaphorical snowstorms without sustenance for days on end. Here are my key takeaways: 🔑 Groundwork Matters: Success is built on the right mindset, resources, and skills. Solid foundations lead to great outcomes. Thanks Vidya Dinamani for your sharing, I couldn't agree more. 🎯 Problem–Outcome Thinking: Focus on identifying real problems and delivering outcomes that solve them. 🤝 Deep Customer Connections: Talking to customers, and sales can also be partners to understand the customers 📊 Prioritisation is Critical: No team has unlimited resources. Important–Satisfaction is a good framework to help. 💡 Embracing Failure: Failure is part of the journey. Iteration leads to meaningful improvement over time. 🤖 AI as an Add-On: AI isn’t the star of the show—it’s a tool to solve real user problems. I’m proud to see the New Zealand product community thriving with world-class practices, a balance between user needs and business goals, and a readiness to embrace change.
