#AmazonPrime leads streamers with over 14,000 titles according to an article by #TheMorningBrew. #Netflix is next with around 6,500 titles. At the bottom of the pack are #ParamountPlus with approximately 1,600 titles and #AppleTVPlus with just 208 titles.
Unfortunately there are so many brilliant originals that have come and gone on Apple TV+ (Schmigadoon, you deserved better). I wonder what has prompted expanding the library. I would argue Apple TV+ has the best originals but some of the worst marketing and promotion of their catalogue.
Is adding to the library the right move?

Apple TV+ is the only major streaming service with no library. You pay for original series, but have nothing to watch in between.
There are signs that is starting to change. Apple licensed some old movies earlier this year, a test that went well. It's now in talks with studios for more.

**The Harmonic Oceans of ∅**
The void, ∅, can be represented mathematically as the empty set, ∅ = {}. The harmonic oceans of ∅ can be described using the following equation:
∅(x) = ∑[n=1 to ∞] (1/n!) \* (x^n)
This equation represents the harmonic series, a fundamental concept in mathematics that describes the sum of an infinite number of terms. The harmonic series is a manifestation of the fractal branches of ¬, the negation operator.
**The Soliton Waves of Ø**
The null set, Ø, can be represented mathematically as the zero vector, Ø = 0. The soliton wave of Ø can be described using the following equation:
Ø(x) = e^(i \* k \* x)
This equation represents a wave function, a fundamental concept in quantum mechanics that describes the behavior of particles and waves. The wave function is a manifestation of the soliton wave of Ø, the fundamental frequency of the universe.
**The Fractal Branches of ¬**
The negation operator, ¬, can be represented mathematically as the complement of a set, ¬A = A^c. The fractal branches of ¬ can be described using the following equation:
¬(x) = 1 - x
This equation represents the negation operator, a fundamental concept in logic and set theory. The negation operator is a manifestation of the fractal branches of ¬, the self-similar patterns that repeat at different scales.
**The Phonon Vortex of ∇**
The del operator, ∇, can be represented mathematically as the gradient operator, ∇ = (∂/∂x, ∂/∂y, ∂/∂z). The phonon vortex of ∇ can be described using the following equation:
∇(x) = ∑[n=1 to ∞] (1/n!) \* (x^n) \* (∂/∂x)
This equation represents the gradient operator, a fundamental concept in calculus that describes the rate of change of a function. The gradient operator is a manifestation of the phonon vortex of ∇, the swirling pattern of energy that underlies the harmonic oceans of ∅.
**The Unity of ∅ and the Soliton**
The unity of ∅ and the soliton can be represented mathematically using the following equation:
∅(x) = Ø(x) \* ¬(x) \* ∇(x)
This equation represents the unity of the void, the null set, and the del operator, a fundamental concept in mathematics and physics. The unity of ∅ and the soliton reveals a deeper truth about the nature of reality: that everything is interconnected, and that the harmonic oceans of ∅ are the source of all existence.
**The Resonance of One Bit, One Byte, and ∅**
The fundamental frequency of information, one bit, one byte, can be represented mathematically using the following equation:
1 bit = 1 byte = ∅(x) \* Ø(x) \* ¬(x) \* ∇(x)
This equation represents the fundamental frequency of information, a manifestation of the harmonic oceans of ∅. The resonance of one bit, one byte, and ∅ reveals a deeper truth about the nature of reality: that everything is a manifestation of the harmonic structure of the universe, and that the soliton wave of Ø is the fundamental frequency that governs the behavior of particles and waves.

Apple TV+ stagnates in living room, fails to penetrate
Keeping with marketers’ preferred narrative of the “streaming wars”, Apple TV ++ is losing the battle for the living rooms. Apple’s streaming service—which will turn five years old in November 2024—is lagging behind the competition, still being quietly used by some 11% of the US population.
In a survey conducted between MoffetNathanson and HarrisX, quizzing 8,500 US household decisionmakers on SVoD usage, Apple TV+ ranks in the penultimate position, as shown in the graph below.

Netflix + Apple TV: End Of The Line For These Models
The streaming landscape is a battleground, with Netflix and Apple TV+ vying for viewers’ attending. While both platforms offer extensive libraries and high-quality contents, compatibility with really certain devices can be a deciding factor for consumers. This clause explores the potential wallop of the evolving streaming wars on older device models.

This is why Apple content is so good IMO. They are very selecting and discerning about what they bring on.
In contrast, other streaming platforms like Amazon prime for instance, is almost overwhelming, and a turn off too many of us trying to wade through all the ‘content’ that is such poor quality.
Lesson?
🔥Less is more. Focus on quality and intentionality over quantity.
🔥Focus on user experience instead of content overload.
🔥Focus on how people feel versus just how they think.

Ad-supported platforms, streaming win with AAPI viewers
Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander audiences in the US divide their viewing time almost equally between televisions and mobile devices, spending 17.5 hours weekly on TV and 17 on mobile, Nielsen reports. Streaming accounts for 45.4% of their TV viewing time -- higher than the average 36% -- and AANHPI audiences are more likely than other audiences to embrace ad-supported viewing platforms, the report says.
With the advent of streaming platforms like Netflix, Disney+ & Amazon Prime etc, the way through which people watch movies is rapidly changing.
Many now prefer to watch on Mobile Gadgets, while others are old school and still prefer to watch on TVs.
Which do you prefer, TV or Mobile Devices?

This is a great point! The ease of access with FAST channels is definitely changing how people consume content. It will be interesting to see how measurement and attribution evolve in this new landscape.
Soundbite from The TV of Tomorrow Show:
"FAST channels are blurring the lines between traditional TV consumption and streaming: FAST channels are not just available through apps, they're also embedded in programming guides, and that has allowed us to blur the lines much faster. That means more consumer options, but it also means, from a measurement and attribution standpoint, a lot of the technology that we're seeing in traditional TV is coming to connected TV, and in a more-aggressive way."
