Advance Auto Parts Car Quest Never I repeat Never has a retail automotive company had a two tier approach that worked Distribution, quality of products production differentiation, marketing Warranties are all problems Advance Auto has tried to incorporate the Car Quest logo hard parts into their mix. It hasn't worked regular customer don't know who CarQuest is ? Advance has diminished the quality of the CarQuest hard parts in order to make the acquisition more profitable. It hasn't worked mechanics don't like the quality and fit problems they can't make money on returns. Prediction ! Several factors have contributed to the decreased demand for cars. The State Bank of Pakistan's (SBP) tightened monetary policy has made car loans more expensive. Additionally, car prices have surged over the past two years, making purchases less affordable. Inflation and higher taxes have further diminished customers' purchasing power. SBP's stringent regulatory controls on car financing have also played a role, keeping imports in check. This was compounded by a shortage of parts due to the LC crisis, leading to non-production days in automobile factories, which suppressed supply even when demand existed. Throughout FY23, as supply was restored, demand continued to decline.
