I assume, many would agree that it is an imperative to build a #collective in a space (teams, organisation, groups etc)... as this exhibits the aspects of being 'one unit' that is #collaborative and #inclusive. However, I wonder to build a collective what would matter that will have the utmost impact - A dialogue or a discussion? Or perhaps, How are these two different? If a group engages in a dialogue and another group engages in a discussion, what will be similar and different? What do you think?
Conversation starts with the Dialogue and might end with discussion.

6moThe choice between the both depends on the goals and context of the collective I guess..if the aim is to build empathy, trust and shared understanding I think starting with dialogue would be beneficial...if it's around making decisions, planning actions then a structured discussion space might make more sense...
