𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 "𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲" 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗔𝗣 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀? 🌟 Customers usually receive three #SuccessFactors instances from #SAP. It is important to know that there are two environments in SuccessFactors: - Production - Preview The difference between these two environments is that the preview environment always receives the semi-annual release about four weeks before the production environment. This allows customers to test new functions and adapt to all functions that affect their implementation before the new version is imported into their production environment. There are therefore eight weeks a year in which the instances are not identical. For large implementations, it can therefore make sense to order one or more additional instances to avoid this situation. In this scenario, you should have the development, test and production instances all in the production environment and one or two additional instances in the preview environment. A golden instance is created in the production environment. It only contains configuration and test data (single source of truth) and serves as a template for all other instances. The golden instance can be used for updates, for example after a refresh following an instance copy. 𝗜𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 "𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲" 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗔𝗣 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲, 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲-𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.

I'm starting a series on SAP SuccessFactors concepts, and today's topic is enabling the 'get feedback' functionality in performance forms: - Start by adjusting the form template settings to uncheck 'Disable Ask for edit' and 'Disable Ask For comment'. - Next, navigate to Manage template -> General Settings -> Button permissions to grant managers access to the get edit and get comment buttons. - Lastly, in every section, configure section permissions for specific roles like manager, a-manager, Second-level manager, and HR to allow comments or edits. How can we send the form for feedback to individuals not listed under roles in section permission? Do we create custom roles or is there another method?
