Here’s a fact that might surprise you: only 0.3% of the U.S. workforce is enrolled in an apprenticeship. Compare that to 3.6% in Switzerland or 2.3% in Germany, and it’s clear we’ve got some catching up to do. At IPC, we’re making strides in the electronics manufacturing sector with apprenticeship programs designed to build foundational skills and adapt to new technologies. Our first year has been a success, with 100 apprentices already in action, and we’re piloting high school pre-apprenticeships to grow the talent pipeline even further. Apprenticeships work.
