Day 6: Overcoming the Timing Challenge and Finding Balance As I reflect on my journey since completing Alx's program, I realize that "Do Hard Things" became a harsh reality after the onboarding week. At first, it felt like, "Oh my God, how will I manage?" The timing was hellish - I had to balance office work, daily reporting, cooking, and family care. But, I refused to give up. I discovered that striking a balance required self-assurance, prioritization, and proactive scheduling. Here's what worked for me: 1. Setting priorities: I identified my non-negotiables and focused on the most critical tasks. 2. Scheduling my tasks: I planned out my day, allocating specific times for work, family, and personal activities. 3. Staying proactive: I remained linked to my goals, constantly reminding myself why I started this challenge. By implementing these strategies, I found a balance that works for me. It's not perfect, but it's a start. I've learned that with determination and the right mindset, I can overcome even the toughest timing challenges. In the short time I’ve been at BPO Global Services S.A.S, I’ve already found so much more than I ever imagined. Looks like it was a routine appointment. But it wasn't. On the contrary! We held our first “Ask Anything” session with all employees last week. And this is what we learned ...   But let's start from the beginning: My colleague Tobias Weiss and I report on our business performance and plans four times a year. This is well received and lifts the mood because we are making gigantic progress:  🙏 thanks to great employees, great products, and great customers. 🙏   Nevertheless, in all the hustle and bustle, questions pile up that no one answers in everyday life. Some people also have concerns. Isn't this all happening too quickly? Where will we be in five years? Are we solidly financed? What will happen to our location if we grow like this?   So let's take time for all that! Our colleagues should ask us any questions whatsoever. Some did this in writing, others in the event. And boy, did we get a lot! And among all of these are questions that can't be answered with a yes or a no.   Of course, we also asked for feedback afterwards. This feedback shows that the format is well received and builds trust - but there's still room for improvement. We'd love to see more people take advantage of the opportunity to ask their questions publicly. Tobi and I were also too vague on one aspect or another for some. It follows: We all need to get better. But that's exactly why we do it! Together, we learn and grow!
