In the short time I’ve been at BPO Global Services S.A.S, I’ve already found so much more than I ever imagined. What really stands out to me is how clear and inspiring our strategy is: a big, ambitious vision, but with a solid plan and a sense of alignment across all teams to make it happen. 🌟 We’ve just started a 90-day countdown to reach an exciting, challenging goal. And you know what? I have no doubt we’ll get there. What are the organizational values that you and your team live by? Are you really living them or were they created just for the sake of it? In my experience, organizational or team values are posted on the external-facing website somewhere, and I couldn't tell you what they were. Are values really that important? Yes, clear values set expectations for everyone to move forward in the same direction. It's like Alex Hamilton's saying "if you stand for nothing you'll fall for everything". One of the most significant benefits is using them during the interview process to ensure alignment between you and the candidate. I personally experienced the value of values when I joined RTA. They were communicated in the interview process and were discussed at length. It was clear they didn't want me if these values weren't me. It also gave me the opportunity to walk away from the interview process and not waste my time if they didn't fit me. At RTA we live by: Humble Hungry Smart (emotional intelligence) Can you imagine working with a bunch of emotionally intelligent, humble and driven people? I can and it's fantastic. On a recent trip to Bengaluru, I held a listening session with some of CSC’s newest talent. They asked for advice on how to achieve success in the business world. Balancing a never-ending focus on gaining #knowledge and being open to embracing a diverse set of experiences has been core to my success. With every task, project, and job in my forty-year career, I’ve had to learn new things and apply those learnings to different experiences. But not all learnings are technical or skill-based; I also gain tremendous value from meeting with our teams, learning their perspectives, and hearing honest feedback. #culture #engagement

🌟 Our Team Building Extravaganza at Prestige Tech Park! 🌟 Today, our team at Genpact had the pleasure of organizing a fantastic team building event right here at our new office in Prestige Tech Park. It was an absolute blast, and I couldn't be more thrilled to share the experience with all. Team activities like these aren't just about having fun (though there was plenty of that!). They play a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment and building a strong, cohesive team. I owe my L&D expertise to them as I learned a lot about the importance of learning and development in an organization. I am more of Quality and Analytics type of girl and was only transitioned to L&D to focus on reports and analytics originally and working with these 2 out of 3 L&D pillars of Convergys now Concentrix, I was able to developed the same level of competency. We can discuss anything under the sun from L&D, work issues, entertainment and politics and anything in between. So when you build and strengthen your network it is important that you choose the right people to be your professional partner as you can ask for their perspective on things which can help you with your business decisions. #learninganddevelopment

Sometimes the true value in the role you play isn't in what people see, but rather in all of the unseen work. There are so many parts of my role, as with my fellow Board Members John Punni and Kevin Rogers, that go unseen. It's those UNSEEN parts of the role that are so important ... not just the UNSEEN HOURS, but all of the conversations, the emails, the amount of things just quietly dealt with ... sometimes the value is (and time input is spent) far more in the unseen stuff than the headline parts that people do see. And it is of course what we signed up for ... the purpose of the Board is to deal with the day-to-day management of the firm. Yes, we each have our Business Units, and official roles to play, but the bulk of the time is spent on everything else to such an extent that it's almost impossible to quantify. We speak several times a day, but it's also the conversations with others, quietly getting on with things without bothering everyone else ... that's the true value. We are blessed though that the Partners trust us and once again voted us into these roles for this financial year, the majority of EPs having at one time or another sat on the Board of Management themselves. Knowing the good achieved is recognition enough, which means the unseen work is in itself rewarding without the need to become Headline "look at all of this work we do" type acts (notwithstanding this post of course 😬 which is far from a "Say well done to me for the unseen elements of the role" and a rather an "I see you" if this is part of your role, never undervalue the unseen elements of your role and the vital part it plays in the success of your business) To my fellow Board Members, I see you, and to the Partners who entrust us with these roles, #ThankYou. #Management #Unseen

If you look closer you see that it’s featuring an EY study stating job motivation and satisfaction has dropped in Germany. As a manager and counselor, I’m also responsible for my colleagues growth and wellbeing. It’s on me to create an environment where people feel heard, valued and motivated. My job isn’t only about hitting sales targets and operating on full utilization, it’s about building a workplace where others can thrive and be their best.
