Do you use GenAI in your job? As of Feb '24, Pew Research said that only 23% of Americans had used ChatGPT, and 20% of those who work had used it for tasks at work. (source: https://lnkd.in/gMaJVndJ) Meaning 80% of people have never used it at all for their jobs. Certainly there's a lot of jobs where there would be no practical use for ChatGPT, but it's also clear that the hype doesn't match the real-world usage. I personally use it all the time for code generation, debugging, etc. But I don't hardly ever use it for actual analysis. Perhaps I should be? I'm looking forward to finding out more in our latest CBUSDAW talk about AI next week were Nicholas Woo from AlignAI presents on real-world use cases for AI that can actually help our day to day. Looks good, doesn't work I’ve seen countless "Top 50 ChatGPT Prompts" lists, each one just a shortcut to discovering 50 uniquely frustrating outputs. Prompts without context are useless. When I first started working with AI tools, I was frustrated by the generic outputs. They didn’t reflect what I needed or the complexity of the tasks at hand. That’s when I realized the missing piece: context. Here’s what I focus on now: 1. Providing relevant and structured inputs. 2. Clear purpose, tied to a specific outcome. 3. Iterating and refining the AI’s understanding. Context is everything. Terry Boyle and I dive into making AI contextually aware, from selecting the right types of inputs to refining the outputs until they meet your exact needs in our PM Guide on Roadmap Creation. 👇 #CompleteAIGuide #PromptEngineering #ContextualAI #ProductRoadmap

$200 for AI “Supercharged Access”? OpenAI’s Latest Move Sparks Debate OpenAI just made waves with their newest premium tier: ChatGPT Pro—and it’s a big leap from the Plus plan. Here’s what’s new: 1️⃣ o1 is officially out of preview and now available to all ChatGPT users. 2️⃣ Faster, smarter, and more powerful than before. 3️⃣ Enhanced reasoning capabilities to tackle even the hardest problems. Multi-modal features, including image understanding. Sam Altman says it’s designed to “think even harder for the hardest problems.” But here’s the catch: 🎈 Base o1 access: $20/month 🎈 Pro access: $200/month 🎈 That’s a massive price jump. It raises a question: Are we heading toward a two-tier AI world? 🔺 Those who can afford premium, cutting-edge tools. 🔺 Those left with standard access. AI was meant to democratize knowledge and opportunity, but this pricing might create exclusivity instead. What’s your take—are we empowering or dividing?

There is a conundrum with some of the current text-to-image tools. This slide is from earlier this year, and based on Dall.e and MidJourney's recent performance, it still holds true. You can't have a conversation with MidJourney about a prompt, an image or what you're trying to achieve. But MidJourney makes much better images. You can get ChatGPT to write a prompt for Dall.e, and have a conversation about your goals, but the image pales in comparison to MidJourney - it seems generations behind. It's ironic that ChatGPT's prompt gets a much better image out of MidJourney than Dall.e. But right now multiple tools seem like the only way to go. We're currently using ChatGPT, Claude, MidJourney and sometimes Llama. I'm not sure there will ever be a 'one size fits all' LLM solution - so if you're building for or integrating AI - it's probably smarter to think in terms of multi-LLM solutions that you can switch in and out as evolutions occur. #genAI #multiLLM #transformation #texttoimage
