The Word Of God Hebrews 4:12-14 12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. 14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. The Bible is the most amazing book ever written. God used human beings to record His thoughts and words in writing so that others could know Him (2 Pet. 1:20-21). The One who spoke the universe into existence still speaks just as powerfully through the pages of the Bible that you hold in your hands. At the moment of salvation, believers receive the Holy Spirit, and lines of communication with the Lord are established. Then, whenever the Scriptures are read, children of God can hear His voice, and the Spirit enables them to understand and put into practice what they have heard. The Bible isn’t just a good book that’s filled with comforting words; Scripture is effective and always achieves God’s purpose (Isa. 55:10-11). Today’s passage describes it as “active and alive,” and 1 Thessalonians 2:13 tells us the Word of God is “at work in you who believe.” This book has the power to change our life if we will believe the Lord and do what He says. God uses the Bible to transform us from the inside out. Before reading Scripture, ask Him to help you hear and understand what He’s saying. As you believe and obey, your spiritual hearing will become more acute, and your time in the Word will become an intimate conversation with the Lord.

THE BIBLE “HEART” What is the Bible "heart"? It is NOT referring to the chest pump, but referring to the mind. (1) It is used to refer to the THINKING (Prov. 4:23; Matt. 9:4). (2) It refers to the EMOTIONS (Acts 2:37; 5:33; Rom. 9:2). (3) it refers to the WILL of man, in making decisions. (Rom. 2:5). GOD'S word instructs the mind so that one passes from unbelief to belief; it touches the emotions and will so that man changes his mind and determines to follow Christ. The heart should be guarded with all diligence since as a man thinketh in his heart so is he. Out of the heart are the issues of life (Prov. 4:23; 23:7). Hearts can be: (1) Instructed by the Word of GOD (Rom. 10:8, 17). (2) They can be beguiled by smooth but deceptive speech (Rom. 16:18). (3) They can be enlightened by gospel (Eph. 1:18,19). (4) And when one refuses to retain GOD in his knowledge, his senseless heart is darkened (Rom. 1:18-23).

The Bible is not just a book of ancient texts; it is a living, breathing guide for our lives today, providing direction and hope. When we feel overwhelmed by the complexities of life, God's Word offers simplicity and truth. It teaches us about His love, His grace, and His purpose for us. It helps us understand who we are in Christ and what He desires for our lives. By spending time in the Scriptures, we can hear God's voice speaking directly to our hearts, cutting through the noise and bringing peace to our souls. In John 8:32, Jesus says, "You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." This freedom comes from knowing God's truth and allowing it to transform our minds and hearts. As we immerse ourselves in His Word, we gain a clearer perspective on our circumstances, our decisions, and our relationships. We begin to see things through God's eyes, and His wisdom guides us in making choices that honour Him. In practical terms, let God's Word be your anchor. When you face decisions, seek His guidance through prayer and Scripture. When you feel anxious or confused, turn to His promises for reassurance. Share His Word with others, offering them the same clarity and hope that you have found. Remember, God's Word is powerful and active, able to cut through the confusion of this world. Let it be your constant companion, your source of truth, and your guide through every situation. As you rely on His Word, you will find the clarity and understanding you need to navigate the complexities of life, grounded in the unchanging truth of our loving God. https://lnkd.in/e4N3hP46

A Book of Remembrance Malachi 3:16 (NKJV) Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, And the Lord listened and heard them; So a book of remembrance was written before Him For those who fear the Lord And who meditate on His name. This verse speaks of a "book of remembrance" that God keeps for those who fear Him and meditate on His name. For us, who meditate on the name of Christ Jesus, this book represents a record of our faith and obedience. John 21:25 (NKJV) But there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. The Bible tells us that there are countless acts of Jesus that were not recorded. This is because the focus is not on the details of His earthly ministry, but on the impact of His life, death, and resurrection on our lives. Revelation 20:12 (NKJV) And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, as recorded in the books. The book of life is a record of those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior. It is a constant work in progress, as we continue to grow in our faith and walk with Jesus. Your Identity is in Christ Jesus Your identity is in Christ Jesus. Will your walk with Jesus be written in His book? The choice is yours! #BookOfRemembrance #Malachi316 #John2125 #Revelation2012 #Faith #Obedience #ChristJesus #BookOfLife #IdentityInChrist #WalkWithJesus

ALL THE ANSWERS ARE IN YOUR BIBLE! Teach me your ways, O LORD, that I may live according to your truth! Grant me purity of heart, so that I may honor you.(psalms 86:11) One of the biggest challenges we face in life is distinguishing the truth from the lies of the evil one. Just because everyone else is doing something or popular culture embraces something that is considered to be normal or acceptable doesn’t make it right or true. The only way we can really know for sure what is right or wrong in important choices we make in life is by asking ourselves the question, “what does the Bible say?” In Matthew 4:1-11, Jesus was tempted on three different occasions by Satan. However, Jesus exposed Satan’s lies all three times by saying, “It is written…” Jesus used the truth of the Bible to overcome temptation and to expose the lies from the enemy. In the same way, we must do the same in all areas of life. This is the reason why it's so important to read the Bible and memorize scripture. The next time you’re confronted with temptation or placed in an awkward situation, ask yourself “What does the Bible say?” Whatever it says, stand on the truth by saying to yourself “It is written..” YOUR PRAYER FOR TODAY: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for becoming one of us so that you could understand us and relate to us. Thank you for giving us your Word as a source of hope, strength and wisdom. Today, I choose to stand on your Word. Grant me purity of heart so that I may honor you. In Jesus’ name, Amen. QUESTIONS: 1. Do you give into sin and temptation easily? Are there things in your life that needs to be eliminated so that you can live a life that's more pure and pleasing to God? 2. How often do you turn to the Bible to help you make the right choices in your life? IF THIS DEVOTIONAL SPEAKS TO YOU then I encourage you to share it or read it with others you know who might be struggling and might need to hear this today. HAVE A BLESSED WEDNESDAY AND SMILE BECAUSE YOU'RE AWESOME

SINCERE MILK: CHILDREN DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE MONDAY OCTOBER 21, 2024BEWARE OF FALSE PROPHETSTEXT: MATTHEW 24:22-25Key Verse: "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect" (Matthew 24:24).To be false is to do things completely wrong and untrue. The Bible is bringing to our knowledge that as we journey in life and approach the end of the world, many people will come up with different fake things, and this includes pretending to be Jesus. All over the world now, we have people who pretend to be Christians and men of God, even when they are not. A lot of people have turned the Bible upside down and are preaching false doctrine. Many of them are using the power of the devil to perform signs and wonders, and a lot of Christians are being deceived. Sadly, this will only increase as we get to the end of the world. The way to escape from being a victim of false prophets and teachers is to know Jesus personally through repentance, and spend time with His word and His people. Also, go out and preach the real truth of God's word, so that you can save a lot of people from falling victims of false prophets.Prayer: Lord, keep me by your power, and help me not to fall a victim of false prophets.Further Reading: 2 Corinthians 11:13-15https://dailymanna.app//

An estimated 6 billion (yes, with a 𝘣) copies of the Bible have been sold. According to Wordsrated, another 115,000 are given away or distributed every day. It has been translated into remarkable numbers of languages and dialects. - The full Bible has been translated into over 700 different languages. - The New Testament is available in over 1,600 languages. - Smaller portions can be found in over 3,600 languages. Every single area of human history has been heavily impacted by the Bible. It has changed lives, shaped cultures, influenced laws, formed literature, developed spoken languages, and much more. And different from many other popular books, it has remained relevant since its completion in circa A.D. 100. Why? Because its Subject is the most important Person in the world - God. And because God is good, loving, holy, righteous, merciful, graceful, truthful, and just, among other things. He's so much so these things that he sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to live among men and ultimately die on a cross for you and for me. Ephesians 2:8-9 𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘣𝘺 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩; 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘴: 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘪𝘧𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘎𝘰𝘥: 𝘕𝘰𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴, 𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘣𝘰𝘢𝘴𝘵. To put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ is the most important decision you will ever make. I can only pray you treat is as such and decide wisely. Salvation through faith in Jesus costs nothing and yet provides joy, assurance, peace, and comfort that like material thing can. Hence the Bible is the world's best selling book. WORD OF GOD Heb 4:12-13 Brothers and sisters: Indeed the word of God is living and effective, sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating even between soul and spirit, joints and marrow, and able to discern reflections and thoughts of the heart. No creature is concealed from him, but everything is naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must render an account. REFLECTION: Living and powerful: When the word of God exposes our weakness and unbelief like this, it demonstrates its inherent power, sharpness, and accuracy. It bears constant reminding that as we submit ourselves to the word of God, we do it for far, far more than intellectual knowledge or to learn Bible facts. We do it for the ministry of the Word, because God meets us in His Word and the Holy Spirit works powerfully through the word of God. This spiritual work of God’s Word goes far beyond the basic educational value of learning the Bible. [Enduring words]

📌 PULL DOWN THE STRONGHOLDS THE WORD FOR TODAY* Daily Devotional Wednesday March 6, 2024 ‘The weapons of our warfare are … mighty in God for pulling down strongholds.’ ~2 Corinthians 10:4 When the Bible speaks of a stronghold, it’s referring to an area in your life that’s controlled by wrong thinking. And that stronghold will attract people who think the same way and feed off it. But there is good news. Not only will God reveal to you the strongholds in your life, He will also show you the experiences that caused them. Some of us worry obsessively about having money because we grew up in hard times. As a result, we’re inclined to depend more on ourselves than we do on God. When it comes to money, we hoard it, or withhold it. And because we’re afraid to sow it, we miss the very harvest that would solve our money problem. ‘So, how can I deal with my stronghold?’ you ask. Attack it with the Word of God. You don’t have to accept whatever comes into your mind; you have a choice! If a thought lines up with the Word of God, accept it – if it doesn’t, reject it. When Satan comes against you, don’t just sit there and say, ‘I wish he would leave me alone. I don’t feel like fighting today.’ If you do, he will ‘devour’ you! (See 1 Peter 5:8.) Paul describes your Bible as ‘the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God’ Ephesians 6:17 NKJV Did you get that? The Holy Spirit within you will wield the sword of Scripture for you – provided you have done your job, which is to get the Word of God inside you. Do you want to pull down the strongholds in your life? Reprogram your mind with God’s Word. *From the book ‘The Word For You Today’ by Bob Gass, available on Amazon; ~reposted by Living Word Ministries Baltimore

Scripture: Proverbs 11:25 “The generous man will be prosperous, and he who waters will himself be watered.” (NASB) Observation: When we start really living for Christ and become an encourager, Satan will begin his tricks and lies. “What are you doing that for?” “Why are you wasting your time?” “Don’t you have better things to do?” “How is that going to help you?” “What’s in it for you?” We can listen to his lies and possibly believe them, or we can stand firm in God’s Word like today’s Bible verse. Not all of us are called to be encouragers; we each have different gifts from God. However, if we never try to encourage, we will never know if that’s one of the many gifts we have been given. So try it on and see if it fits. Each of us can think of one person that could use an encouraging word. All we need now is to step out in faith and think of someone other than ourselves. Hey, one encouraging word to someone today may help them past the brink of total despair. We could, by one kind word, save a person from making a terrible mistake. Wouldn’t that be something?

NIV Bible. 1 Corinthians 2:9-16 [9]However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” — the things God has prepared for those who love him— [10]these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. [11]For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. [12]What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. [13]This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. [14]The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. [15]The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, [16]for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.
