6 billion copies sold. 2,000+ years of influence. One message. What am I referring to? That would be the Bible, the world's bestselling book of all time. An estimated 6 billion (yes, with a 𝘣) copies of the Bible have been sold. According to Wordsrated, another 115,000 are given away or distributed every day. It has been translated into remarkable numbers of languages and dialects. - The full Bible has been translated into over 700 different languages. - The New Testament is available in over 1,600 languages. - Smaller portions can be found in over 3,600 languages. Every single area of human history has been heavily impacted by the Bible. It has changed lives, shaped cultures, influenced laws, formed literature, developed spoken languages, and much more. And different from many other popular books, it has remained relevant since its completion in circa A.D. 100. Why? Because its Subject is the most important Person in the world - God. And because God is good, loving, holy, righteous, merciful, graceful, truthful, and just, among other things. He's so much so these things that he sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to live among men and ultimately die on a cross for you and for me. Ephesians 2:8-9 𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘣𝘺 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩; 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘴: 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘪𝘧𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘎𝘰𝘥: 𝘕𝘰𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴, 𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘣𝘰𝘢𝘴𝘵. To put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ is the most important decision you will ever make. I can only pray you treat is as such and decide wisely. Salvation through faith in Jesus costs nothing and yet provides joy, assurance, peace, and comfort that like material thing can. Hence the Bible is the world's best selling book. Go ahead, grab yourself a copy if you haven't already and read it, taking in each invaluable word. If you enjoyed this post or have something to add, let me know below⬇️. A Book of Remembrance Malachi 3:16 (NKJV) Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, And the Lord listened and heard them; So a book of remembrance was written before Him For those who fear the Lord And who meditate on His name. This verse speaks of a "book of remembrance" that God keeps for those who fear Him and meditate on His name. For us, who meditate on the name of Christ Jesus, this book represents a record of our faith and obedience. John 21:25 (NKJV) But there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. The Bible tells us that there are countless acts of Jesus that were not recorded. This is because the focus is not on the details of His earthly ministry, but on the impact of His life, death, and resurrection on our lives. Revelation 20:12 (NKJV) And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, as recorded in the books. The book of life is a record of those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior. It is a constant work in progress, as we continue to grow in our faith and walk with Jesus. Your Identity is in Christ Jesus Your identity is in Christ Jesus. Will your walk with Jesus be written in His book? The choice is yours! #BookOfRemembrance #Malachi316 #John2125 #Revelation2012 #Faith #Obedience #ChristJesus #BookOfLife #IdentityInChrist #WalkWithJesus

How to have a quiet time… "I would like to get to know God better and spend more time with Him, but I have no idea how to go about it. I open the Bible and nothing happens. I pray and feel nothing." Maybe those are exactly your thoughts, Patrick. You know what? I feel the same way when, caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, I only open the Bible "quickly on the side" and pray "quickly on the side." Patrick, I know we have a full life. But even in this fullness of our "to-dos," we can approach our quiet time with a strategy: Pick a book of the Bible that interests you right now. Perhaps you recently heard a sermon with a Bible verse that spoke to you. Then take a look at the whole book. Read a passage, no matter how small, but read it consciously. And the next day you read the next small section. Stay in this book. Read it all at once. Then you will see how much power it has in context! Compare each verse directly with other Bible translations. Put yourself in the position of the people it is about. For example, put yourself in the disciples' shoes and ask yourself, "Would I have reacted the same way?" or even, "What would it be like if this situation were happening today?" Patrick, that sounds doable, doesn't it? There's not a single point in there that seems impossible. If you take these small steps in your everyday life, if you put this into practice, you will experience a difference. Because: Even small steps toward God will bring you a big step forward! Patrick, I will pray for you as you take these small steps that are possible for you. Because I wish, from my heart, that you experience God in a completely new and WONDERFUL way! Yes: "...being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." (Philippians 1:6 NIV) You are a miracle!

The Word Of God Hebrews 4:12-14 12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. 14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. The Bible is the most amazing book ever written. God used human beings to record His thoughts and words in writing so that others could know Him (2 Pet. 1:20-21). The One who spoke the universe into existence still speaks just as powerfully through the pages of the Bible that you hold in your hands. At the moment of salvation, believers receive the Holy Spirit, and lines of communication with the Lord are established. Then, whenever the Scriptures are read, children of God can hear His voice, and the Spirit enables them to understand and put into practice what they have heard. The Bible isn’t just a good book that’s filled with comforting words; Scripture is effective and always achieves God’s purpose (Isa. 55:10-11). Today’s passage describes it as “active and alive,” and 1 Thessalonians 2:13 tells us the Word of God is “at work in you who believe.” This book has the power to change our life if we will believe the Lord and do what He says. God uses the Bible to transform us from the inside out. Before reading Scripture, ask Him to help you hear and understand what He’s saying. As you believe and obey, your spiritual hearing will become more acute, and your time in the Word will become an intimate conversation with the Lord.

THE BIBLE “HEART” What is the Bible "heart"? It is NOT referring to the chest pump, but referring to the mind. (1) It is used to refer to the THINKING (Prov. 4:23; Matt. 9:4). (2) It refers to the EMOTIONS (Acts 2:37; 5:33; Rom. 9:2). (3) it refers to the WILL of man, in making decisions. (Rom. 2:5). GOD'S word instructs the mind so that one passes from unbelief to belief; it touches the emotions and will so that man changes his mind and determines to follow Christ. The heart should be guarded with all diligence since as a man thinketh in his heart so is he. Out of the heart are the issues of life (Prov. 4:23; 23:7). Hearts can be: (1) Instructed by the Word of GOD (Rom. 10:8, 17). (2) They can be beguiled by smooth but deceptive speech (Rom. 16:18). (3) They can be enlightened by gospel (Eph. 1:18,19). (4) And when one refuses to retain GOD in his knowledge, his senseless heart is darkened (Rom. 1:18-23).

ONE YEAR PRAYING THROUGH THE BIBLE SEPTEMBER 3 Empty Words There is ruin in a flood of empty words. Fear God instead.... The more words you speak, the less they mean. So why overdo it? - Ecclesiastes 5:7; 6:11. I am a person of many words. So when I read these verses from Ecclesiastes, I am convicted of sometimes "overdoing it" when it comes to talking. I may speak words quickly without thinking first or without praying about the situation. Sometimes my words give more information than the hearer needs to know. Often the flood of words comes because I'm worried or concerned about something. But the instruction to "fear God instead" doesn't mean to just shut up the flow of words or be silent. It means to understand that God is the first place to turn, that we can take our thoughts, worries, and concerns to him in prayer and pour them out to him rather than continue to rehash a situation with others. Then the words that we speak will not cause ruin. As we yield our conversation to God and ask the Holy Spirit to inspire and guide our words, they will not be empty or spoken in vain; instead, they will be full of life. PRAYER: LORD, forgive me for speaking empty words without thinking first and for times when I talk too much and say too little. I want my words to be full of life, to be of help and value to others, and to reflect your love and grace. Teach me to turn first to you and pour out my concerns and thoughts. Then your Spirit will give me right words to speak. WORDS. DO YOU FULLY UNDERSTAND THEIR POWER? CAN ANY OF US REALLY GRASP THE MIGHTY FORCE BEHIND THE THINGS WE SAY? DO WE STOP AND THINK BEFORE WE SPEAK, CONSIDERING THE POTENCY OF THE PHRASES WE UTTER? - Joni Eareckson Tada (b. 1949). The One Year Bible Readings for today are Ecclesiastes 4:1-6:12; 2 Corinthians 6:14-7:7; Psalm 47:1-9; and Proverbs 22:16.

IN GOD WE HAVE FAITH Here is what John 1: means in the Bible. He had life within him, and that life contained the human light. "In him was life," as stated in the verses above, refers to God's eternal life, which, in accordance with John 17: and 2 Peter 1: is the knowledge of God and of Jesus Christ (Christ). In other words, the life (God's knowledge) was in Christ from the very beginning of time. According to Proverbs 3: God founded the earth with wisdom, and the depths were broken up by his knowledge. "And the life was the light of men" refers to the life that was present in Christ from the beginning. This is the same light that was present in Adam and gave him the ability to name all the animals that God brought him, and it was by this light, also known as God's knowledge, that men like Enoch walked with God and did good from the very beginning of the world. In order to know what is good, acceptable, and God's perfect will, Romans 12: instructs us to be transformed by renewing our minds. This knowledge is brought about by the light of the exalted knowledge of God. As God's children, it is our responsibility to reflect God's life (light, knowledge) so that others might see God's glory in our good deeds and help us distinguish between right and wrong. 🙏🙏🙏

ALL THE ANSWERS ARE IN YOUR BIBLE! Teach me your ways, O LORD, that I may live according to your truth! Grant me purity of heart, so that I may honor you.(psalms 86:11) One of the biggest challenges we face in life is distinguishing the truth from the lies of the evil one. Just because everyone else is doing something or popular culture embraces something that is considered to be normal or acceptable doesn’t make it right or true. The only way we can really know for sure what is right or wrong in important choices we make in life is by asking ourselves the question, “what does the Bible say?” In Matthew 4:1-11, Jesus was tempted on three different occasions by Satan. However, Jesus exposed Satan’s lies all three times by saying, “It is written…” Jesus used the truth of the Bible to overcome temptation and to expose the lies from the enemy. In the same way, we must do the same in all areas of life. This is the reason why it's so important to read the Bible and memorize scripture. The next time you’re confronted with temptation or placed in an awkward situation, ask yourself “What does the Bible say?” Whatever it says, stand on the truth by saying to yourself “It is written..” YOUR PRAYER FOR TODAY: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for becoming one of us so that you could understand us and relate to us. Thank you for giving us your Word as a source of hope, strength and wisdom. Today, I choose to stand on your Word. Grant me purity of heart so that I may honor you. In Jesus’ name, Amen. QUESTIONS: 1. Do you give into sin and temptation easily? Are there things in your life that needs to be eliminated so that you can live a life that's more pure and pleasing to God? 2. How often do you turn to the Bible to help you make the right choices in your life? IF THIS DEVOTIONAL SPEAKS TO YOU then I encourage you to share it or read it with others you know who might be struggling and might need to hear this today. HAVE A BLESSED WEDNESDAY AND SMILE BECAUSE YOU'RE AWESOME

ONE YEAR PRAYING THROUGH THE BIBLE OCTOBER 19 Be an Example Don't let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you teach, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity. - 1 Timothy 4:12. The early church was suffering persecution and desperately needed strong spiritual leaders. Evidently, some date for ministry. But Paul encouraged Timothy to keep focused on the spiritual gift he had received when the foders laid hands on him (4:14). He knew that if Timothy lived what he taught and modeled a life of love, faith, and purity, he would demonstrate to the critics fant he was indeed following God's call. When we do what God is leading us to do, we may face criticism, or others may question our qualifications for ministry. We may become discouraged by careless comments about our weaknesses and begin to doubt God's ability to work through us. By humbly acknowledging our weaknesses and at the same time recognizing that God has equipped us to serve him effectively, we can continue in faith to minister. As our lives increase in godliness, demonstrated through love, faith, and purity, it will become evident to others that we are following God's will. PRAYER: LORD, I am thankful that your opinion of me is more important than anyone else's opinion. The work you accomplish through me is equally effective, whether in my gifts or in my weaknesses since my weaknesses cause greater dependence on you. Help me not to shy away from using the gifts you have given me, and make me an example of your love, faith, and purity. A LIFE LIVED LISTENING TO THE DECISIVE CALL OF GOD IS A LIFE LIVED BEFORE ONE AUDIENCE THAT TRUMPS ALL OTHERS-THE AUDIENCE OF ONE. - Os Guinness. The One Year Bible Readings for today are Jeremiah 33:1-34:22; 1 Timothy 4:1-16; Psalm 89:1-13; and Proverbs 25:23-24.

📖 FURTHER STUDY: ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 1 Corinthians 3:1-2; And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. [2] I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. Ephesians 4:14-15; that we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; [15] but speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: Hebrews 6:1-2; Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, [2] of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 1 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN: Hebrews 12:1-13 & Ezekiel 11-12 2 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN: 1 John 2:15-29 & Ezekiel 46

2moI actually Googled a while back, what is the most sold book in the world and you're right, it's the Bible. I was just like wow! I've never read it but there's got to be incredible value for many people in it.
