In my early 30s, it seemed I was on a “success” path from the outset: Ivy League grad, youngest marketing director at a tech company with over 9,000 employees in Silicon Valley, and a fast career trajectory with promotion after promotion. But then life happened, one event after another. I lost my father to lung cancer, faced family drama, experienced severe depression, discovered I had an extremely low ovarian reserve, got double-scammed with dating and crypto, lost all my money, suffered burnout at work, dealt with gut issues and back problems, had my mom diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and then got laid off... just to name a few. It has never been easy to overcome any of the above. I used to question why I had to deal with so much. But now, I’m very grateful for all that happened. I choose to believe that God wouldn’t give me challenges I couldn't overcome. As I overcame these challenges, I gained a story and the strength to connect with, inspire, and empower others. #vulnerability #personalstory #overcomingadversity #podcast
