The only good thing here is it lets me know exactly what connections to remove and vice versa.
A year ago, the House voted to give Speaker Mike Johnson the gavel. He’s a man of faith and fights for what’s best for America and our great state. Louisiana is deeply grateful for his leadership!

Last month with NFBLME: The National Fellowship for Black and Latino Male Educators was powerful, like a rose breaking through the concrete — but this time, we’re making larger cracks for the next generation to bloom through. Being in the presence of other Black and Brown male educators brought an intense sense of unity and purpose. We sharpened each other’s minds, shared wisdom, and held space for real, vulnerable conversations that filled each of us up. Baldwin reminds us, “Our crown has already been bought and paid for. All we have to do is wear it.” And that’s what this fellowship is about. NFBLME’s mission to elevate Black and Latino men into senior leadership isn’t just a goal; it’s a movement. Representation matters, but so does creating a legacy that grows beyond us. We’re widening those cracks in the concrete so future leaders can step in confidently and keep building. This is about impact, legacy, and making our presence last.

Mr. Holtz, let Vein Access Technologies improve the 'blood donation procedure' for your Techs and your Donors. VAT's STEM-method for the venipuncture and for the POC finger stick blood collection improve the success rate of the donation, reduces the compromise and failure rate, & improves the likelihood of a repeat donation. Current POC methods result in hemolysis of the blood sample, falsely indicating they are 'anemic', when they aren't. The new VAT method (gravity method) does NOT causes hemolysis - ACCURATE RESULTS follow. Current venipuncture methods frequently cause vein rupture, bruising, pain, fear - and sometimes long term recovery (from what should have been an inspirational donation), not to mention the occasional permanent injury. Not all veins are created equal; and not all veins should be stuck. PLEASE - THERE IS NOTHING TO LOSE by investigating VATmethod.com Or visit STEM21cVA.com for the science of it - The Science Behind the Skill of Vein Access for Blood Donation book describes it all. This is a new era for ARC, with a new leader - it's time for a new/next generation venipuncture and POC blood collection. 😊
Please join us in welcoming Cliff Holtz as the new President and CEO of the American Red Cross! Cliff steps into this role following the retirement of Gail McGovern. With 13 years of experience at the Red Cross, including the last seven years as our Chief Operating Officer, Cliff is well-prepared to lead us into this new chapter. Together, we’ll continue to deliver help and hope to those in need, and we look forward to pursuing new and exciting opportunities under Cliff’s leadership.

A Seat at the Table: Shaping the Future of Public Education Last week, I had the incredible honor of participating in a groundbreaking gathering of superintendents who are members of The Network of Distinguished Educators. Reflecting on this inaugural two-day meeting, I'm filled with profound gratitude and excitement for the future of public education in America. To say I felt blessed to be there would be an understatement. Imagine being in a room where the collective experience, wisdom, and passion for education was only surpassed by each individual's humility and hope for a brighter tomorrow! These leaders, each a powerhouse in their own right, came together with a shared vision: to positively impact public education across our nation. Having a seat at that table - not just to observe, but to actively contribute to shaping the organization's future direction and initiatives - was truly a "pinch me, I'm dreaming" moment. The energy in the room was palpable. Ideas were flying, challenges were being dissected, and innovative solutions were emerging in real-time. No one was disillusioned about the gravity of the work ahead, but what struck me most was the genuine commitment to making a difference. This wasn't about buzzwords or flashy initiatives. It was about rolling up our sleeves and tackling the real issues facing our schools, teachers, and most importantly, our students. As we wrapped up the second day, I couldn't help but feel a surge of hope. The road ahead in public education may have its challenges, but with leaders like these at the helm, and organizations committed to meaningful change, the future looks brighter than ever. To my fellow education enthusiasts out there, buckle up! We're in for an exciting ride. The work we've begun has the potential to create waves of positive change across the educational landscape. I'm beyond excited to see where this journey leads and grateful for the opportunity to play a small part in it. Here's to the future of public education – may it be as bright and promising as the students we serve! #EdChat #SuptChat #PublicEducation #EducationalLeadership #FutureOfLearning #GratefulHeart

Hi everyone! Here's another video from "Taelor's Version" my series I am the Digital Lead for at The Leadership Conference. In this video, I talk about the organization's Vision For Justice program, which focuses on creating and funding a national employment program to help youth and adults impacted by the criminal justice system. This program is essential for our communities to be safer and thrive. Like this, share this! Let's see where this goes :)

Ethan Hawke recently shared some valuable advice he got from Denzel Washington about winning awards. He said, "You don’t want an award to improve your status. You want to improve the award’s status." This is a powerful statement that challenges us to think about the true value of awards. It's not about personal recognition, but about elevating the award itself. What do you think about this perspective? Share your thoughts in the comments below. #EthanHawke #DenzelWashington #Awards #Perspective #Value #Success
