Don’t confuse the algorithm by trying to tweak everything all the time within the account… just for the sake of “optimisation” or forcing a better result. Mostly you are trying the squeeze out every single last drop without refilling the bottle. If you want to go to the next level it is more often than not... The things to optimise outside of the account. Google Ads is simply just one piece of the puzzle that has the power to emphasise the quality of your business. Google can merely put more traffic in front of your products. With optimisation you can dive into all the tactics to acquire the traffic cheaper and in a more relevant way. But if you optimise the touchpoints after as well, you can go the length of your true potential. - Making a seaming-less user experience increases CVR - Expanding your product line skyrockets your AOV - Email marketing increases LTV Google already gives you the traffic. It is what is happening after that defines your succes. People have many myths about Google ads. These myths lead to many bad decisions and financial disasters. Therefore, it is important that you clear them out if you want to drive the results asap. First myth they believe in is that Ads guarantee immediate results. However, this is not the case because ads only assist in generating leads. To have the sales, you need to have many other factors as well. Second myth they believe in is that the more you spend, the better results you will drive. However, effectiveness of ads depends on strategy not on budget. Third myth people believe in is that Google ads can ensure instant success. However, success requires continuous optimization and adaptation.
