Not lost for too long! 🤗 Microchipping pet dogs and cats is one of the best methods available to make sure that a lost pet is easily and quickly reunited with their owners. While it also ensures responsible pet ownership, the primary benefit of a national microchip database means that just with a quick visit to a vet, rescuers can find out if the animal has an owner or is indeed a stray. This will avoid unnecessary crowding at shelters and most importantly bring relief to owners and their beloved pet.🥰 This is even more crucial in places of conflict where a pet and their owner may be separated without a moment’s notice. Therefore, we are excited to hear that #Ukraine recently launched a national registry allowing owners to register their pets. FOUR PAWS together with ANIMAL ID CORPORATION is supporting this initiative by providing Animal ID’s innovative microchip reader to shelters, veterinary clinics and communal enterprises in the country, to ramp up microchipping and registrations. 👏 Say yes to #microchipping 🫶🐕🐈 See details here: https://lnkd.in/dtUv6MnE

Of stray cat found in store room do the following - Check for any identification like a collar or tags. - Assess the cat's health and behavior; if friendly and healthy, it may be a lost pet. - If possible, safely transport the cat to a vet or shelter for a microchip scan. - Provide temporary shelter, food, and water while attempting to locate the owner. - Contact local animal shelters, vets, and rescue groups to report the found cat. - Use social media and community platforms to post about the found cat. - If no owner is found, consider fostering the cat until a permanent home is secured. #veterinarymedicine #catlover #veterinarylife #petclinic Pet First Veterinary Clinic #straycat
