When we announced our $1.3 million funding round I realised why everyone sucks at outbound My inbox and DMs were flooded With people trying to sell me a product or service Fair enough, its the game we all play The problem? All the messages were the same "Hey, amazing new on your funding... pitch pitch pitch" No pain, no solution If you are going to use triggers as a reason to reach out Ask yourself two questions -> Are we solving a problem for this company? -> How can I approach this in a way others may not? Answer these two question and the rest will follow🤞

Unfortunately, sometimes it's hard to address the context, e.g., the value proposition for a product itself (because it's impossible to do an audit of features that are currently under development, existing, or in a backlog) without internal knowledge.  But, still agree 100%! 🫡

yep - triggers are context, triggers are proxies...they are not messaging strategy
