Turning Challenges into Triumphs: Our Latest Board Gaming Night Last night, we hosted a much-anticipated Board Gaming Night, but it didn’t go exactly as planned. While we always aim for smooth events, this time we faced three unexpected hurdles: 1️⃣ The venue had loud music, making communication a challenge. 2️⃣ Dim lighting made it harder to set up and read game cards. 3️⃣ It was overcrowded, which left us short on space. Despite these hurdles, the spirit of our amazing participants made the night unforgettable! ✨ How we managed: • We quickly improvised by moving to a quieter corner of the venue, ensuring everyone could enjoy the games better. • Participants used flashlights and phone lights to brighten up the space and keep the energy alive. • Everyone showed incredible teamwork and adjusted to the tight setup, turning what could have been a setback into a fun, cozy vibe. The night reminded us that it’s not always about perfection but about creating memories, adapting together, and having fun no matter what! To everyone who attended: thank you for your patience, enthusiasm, and cooperation. Your energy transformed the night into a success. Here’s to many more gaming nights – and to learning something new with every event we host! #BoardGamingCommunity #EventManagement #Teamwork #LessonsLearned

This is exactly why I’m so passionate about what we’re doing at i agree. Agreements should be transparent and easy to understand—no legal jargon, no nasty surprises just complete trust between clients and organisations. What do you think? Should companies rethink how they handle digital ownership? Would love to hear your thoughts👇
🎮 Game Over for Trust? Ubisoft shutting down The Crew servers left players asking: did I ever really own this game? Many bought it thinking it was theirs to keep, but when the servers went down, so did their access—thanks to unclear agreements. At i agree, we make sure agreements are transparent, so no one’s left feeling cheated. What do you think? Should companies rethink how they handle digital ownership? Let’s discuss👇 Check out the blog for more: https://lnkd.in/e5FtxxGK #consumerduty #informedconsent #innovate #innovativetech #protectconsumers #contracts #agreements

The next "big global IP" is decades old. According to Amazon, 60% of the audience for the Fallout TV show are outside the United States, in particular, France and Brazil. Intellectual Properties (IPs) that have worldwide recognition play a pivotal role in the gaming industry, impacting a game's success, brand visibility, and revenue. With the revitalization of the Fallout brand from the show, regions on the planet that were not aware of the IP is now seeking out and playing Fallout games, many which were released years ago. They became established fans of the IP after watching the show, which then translated over to game sales and engagement. Fallout/Vault Boy may soon have the same global recognition of a Mario or Sonic. If you are curious of other traits that helped Fallout and other games reach global appeal, feel free to reach out.

Help us shape the future character representation in media and gaming: complete our survey about character identity. At AbleGamers, we assist all sorts of media outlets in conversations about culture and representation. We strive to eliminate barriers to social isolation through providing shared experiences that intimately relate to all players. Character identity is a big part of that. We would love your feedback on character identities within gaming and TV media so we can make informed recommendations and suggestions to studios as they create the next generation of media! This is an excellent assessment of journalism and PR/Comms in the media landscape of 2024.
A lot of game devs assume that working with the press isn’t really worth the hassle. And games journalists say it’s harder than ever to get access to studios for stories. My view: if you refuse to work with media, you’re leaving real value on the table. So in a fun role reversal, this week I interviewed some games journalists and a PR pro about the current state of games media. The resulting piece is a weird mishmash of personal essay and a reported deep dive. Thank you sincerely to Inverse’s Shannon Liao, Shacknews’s Greg Burke, and JSA+Partners head Jennifer Stephens Acree for talking with me for this piece! https://lnkd.in/g9WhHtS2
