Happy Halloween! 🎃 (A friendly note! The following story is satire and fully fictional. So there is no reason to get angry because this just doesn’t exist in reality….) Here is the feast of scary characters, but there are some characters you’d like to avoid at all times. Meet Mr. Draincula, our hero whose aim is to take our souls to deliver his own agenda. In this story it is he/him, but the character is able to appear in any gender. He can live anywhere in the organisation and influence many teams and individuals. He is known to create teams with high morale, loyalty, efficiency and productivity. He has been in the business so long and has always contributed successfully. He has a reputation of getting the most out of teams. His methods are best in class and have been proven to work for over decades. Teams under his influence have experienced short-term success. If they haven’t it’s not because of him and his methods. Teams are just lazy and get dismantled likely sooner than later. Are you ready to learn and follow the master? Here are Draincula’s 6 rules to create efficient teams:

🔵...his hand hovered over the switch. One choice! Life or death. Which will it be? That is a scene ☝️ Every story has a scene. A scene is a snapshot. It gives details of what happens. There's usually a moment, time and place. A spark to stir attention And a bit of action to make things real. A scene has three major spices: S : Seduce your readers A : Create a problem N : Negotiate choices and changes that solved the problem. 🔵...his hand dropped to the switch And everything changed! Now take your readers to the oceans! Make them flow! It's a new week! Don't forget to create a SCENE! PS : What's your favourite day of the week?

Being present was always a challenge for me in the past and it wasn't until I had kids that I learned the importance of being present. It's not always easy when you have so much striving for your attention, responsibilities to your team, and your family, and the endless distractions that are clawing for your focus. This is one of the most powerful lessons I've learned. Watch the full video here - https://buff.ly/3VLyZn3

Lady Gaga was dropped from her first record label. Stephen King received 60 rejection letters before publishing his first short story. Oprah Winfrey was told she was unfit for television news. But today’s blog isn’t about any of those people. It’s about Cookie the Pug. Outwardly, there’s nothing overtly exceptional about Cookie (other than being a darn cute dog). The thing that’s notable – exceptional even – about Cookie the Pug is that she loves agility training. That’s right, with those short-as-ever legs and that stout little body, she loves to do all the things agility training requires: running up and down planks, dashing left and right between poles, and everything in between. So what’s the lesson here? Lady Gaga, I’ve been told by a friend who is her saxophonist, holds a singular focus for making her visions realities – so it’s no wonder getting dropped from her first record label didn’t deter her in the slightest. Stephen King loved to write and was determined to make it as a writer, even after 60+ rejection letters. Oprah Winfrey has overcome numerous incredible obstacles to get where she is today. Yes, being born into cushy circumstances can of course make things easier – but it’s not our circumstances that ultimately decide whether or not we succeed. In the end, it’s all about desire, determination, and sheer will. So if you want to be a pianist, don’t worry about your short stubby fingers. If you want to be a basketball player, don’t worry about your lack of height. If you want to be a business owner, don’t worry about your lack of organization. Just remember Cookie the Pug. And go after whatever it is you love to do. #determination #cookiethepug #agilitydog #ellanyze

You must be where action is happening. Life is a theatre. If you are not an actor, you must be where the actors are. Whatever industry you are in, you must associate with people who call shots in that industry. You can't afford to be at the bottom of the food chain or at the periphery and expect to be great. You must associate with the people who make things move in your industry through service or collaboration. Be where they are! Move cities, change hobbies, enrol in those clubs, attend those conferences, do business or contribute content. Just do something to associate with movers & shakers of your industry . That's what will propel you to great heights faster than your resources, papers or expertise. Have a Winning Wednesday.

Watch this video. Who really made this play happen? This video came to me recently of a great play that happened 40 years ago in 1984. Two of my Gator teammates made this play that broke the game wide open in our favor. However, the average fan was oblivious of all that took place among those five offensive linemen in front of the quarterback which made the play possible. I was down in middle of that mass of humanity 40 years ago (Number #60 offensive guard) The offensive line must block and protect so that an offensive play can be executed. A game is usually won down in the trenches in a violent interaction between the offensive and defensive fronts. The offensive lineman doesn’t have any stats and fans are not cheering for them individually as you see in this video clip. The only recognition is from his coaches, teammates and some media who understands the lineman’s role. His job is to make other players look good without the spotlight! It’s a selfless mindset that the fraternity of offensive linemen take pride in helping others get the accolades on the team. How would this same mindset affect your business, organization, department, church, or in a home? Someone has said, “The credit is immaterial as long as the cause is advanced.” So my question is, have you stop and thanked the “offensive linemen types” that are in your life? Who are the people that work behind-the-scenes and go unnoticed? Take a moment of time and express your gratitude to them. Most likely they are not looking for any recognition or praise but just doing their job well is satisfaction enough. A sincere “Thank you” from you will go a long way. It still doesn’t cost anything to be nice!

I watched 12𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗹 today, and it left me with some deep insights and lessons that I wanted to share: - 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀, 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀: There are moments in life, just like in the movie, where saying nothing is the best answer. It’s a lesson in patience and understanding. - 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗵𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘂𝘀: They may pretend to be happy just so we don’t worry about them. It’s a reminder to always check in on them beyond the surface. - 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀: This movie beautifully highlights how consistent effort and perseverance can overcome even the toughest challenges. - 𝗡𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀: No matter the situation, staying true to yourself and your principles is non-negotiable like DSP Dushyant Singh and Manoj's Father. - 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵: True love values connection, trust, and understanding over material riches just like Shraddha and Manoj had for each other. - 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁: Characters like Gauri Bhaiya and Pandey remind us that there are selfless souls who genuinely care about others and make a difference. - 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀: Just as Shraddha’s father trusted her with his belief and support, we should have faith in our loved ones. 12𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗹 is more than just a movie; it’s a mirror to real life, showing us what truly matters. If you’ve seen it, I’d love to know your takeaways and what you have learned from this movie?
