Many new content writers are stuck with the question: what should I write about? Many new writers struggle with finding their niche, that “sweet spot” where passion meets expertise. But the thing is: sometimes, your niche finds you. While strategic planning has its place, there's immense value in simply creating. Don't have a niche yet? That's okay! This is your chance to experiment. Write about anything that sparks your curiosity, be it travel, tech trends, or the history of sandwiches (hey, no judgment!). A seemingly random blog post might spark a fire you never knew existed. The more you write, the more you refine your unique style and perspective. This authentic voice will resonate with your ideal audience, wherever they may be. Even if you eventually specialize, a diverse portfolio showcases your versatility and writing chops. It can be a valuable asset when attracting clients. The act of creating itself fuels further creation. The more you write, the more comfortable and confident you become at expressing yourself. This ongoing process allows you to: →Refine your skills: With each piece, you refine your research, structure, and overall writing ability. Practice truly makes perfect. →Identify patterns: Over time, you might find certain topics consistently drawing you back. These could be early indicators of your niche. So, don't be afraid to create a lot, even if it's not all "niche-specific" yet. This exploration is an investment in your content future.

The Everlasting Content Battle: Quality vs. Quantity 😖 [Think Pareto + answer 2 questions]. 👉 20% of your content produces 80% of your results — Pareto’s 80/20 rule has certainly been my experience over the years. So let’s ask (and answer) two questions: 👉#1. Is it about value over volume (quality over quantity)? Yes and no. 👉#2. Is there anything wrong with writing fewer articles? No — often less is more. More doesn’t necessarily mean better. We all know the online pandemic of redundant/poor content. If you want your readers to be hungry for your creations — instead of overeating them — create unique content that matters. Make it so compelling, unique and/or well-researched that your readers cannot wait to be notified of your new post. Still, if you’re serious about your content strategy/journey, you may need to produce a big number of words, especially before you know what works and focus on that. Thoughts?
