Celebrating Resilience in Female Leadership 💃 We've had the privilege of working alongside so many inspiring female founders here at Goodthing, each founder bringing a unique story of resilience—balancing purpose and business through the challenges they’ve faced and overcome. 🌟💪 What resonates most is their ability to stay grounded and focused through both the highs and lows. Here are just a few lessons we've learned from working with these remarkable women: ✨ Adaptability is key: The way they pivot in the face of change is often where the true magic happens. 🔥 Purpose fuels perseverance: Staying connected to their mission keeps them moving forward, even on tough days. 🤝 Support systems matter: Community plays a central role in resilience, and they show the value of building networks that empower and uplift. To all the female founders we've worked alongside —and those we have yet to meet—you inspire us all by continually pushing boundaries and redefining what’s possible. 🌱💫 How has resilience shaped your journey? We’d love to hear your stories below! 💬 #FemaleFounders #Leadership #Resilience #Community

This morning at the GROW Women Leaders Summit at the Edmonton Convention Centre I had the honor of being a panelist for the roundtable discussion, “Boosting GDP: Strategies for Talent Utilization and Workforce Gaps.” It was an incredible opportunity to speak on the contributions of Indigenous peoples and to represent Indigenous Projects & Events upcoming initiatives. I’m thrilled to share a glimpse of what’s coming in Spring 2025: a 6-month experiential DEI program from an Indigenous lens designed for C-level executives. Backed by science, this program focuses on creating lasting change by fostering self-awareness of thoughts and feelings through transformative Indigenous experiences. Being part of a panel with so many brilliant, executive-level women from diverse industries was nothing short of a dream. Stay tuned—there’s so much more to come! Thank you to Tracy Folorunsho- Barry for leading the way ✨ #IndigenousLeadership #DEI #ExperientialLearning #GrowWomenLeaders #EconomicGrowth #InclusionMatters

Struggling to bring more women into leadership? Let’s start with actionable steps. The desire for women to lead fearlessly is at the heart of every empowerment movement. But here’s the thing: The gap isn’t just about opportunities—it’s about consistent advocacy and inclusivity. What if 2025 became the year we: ➡ Broke down barriers in male-dominated industries? ➡ Created mentorship programs that focus on preparing women for leadership? ➡ Ensured women have a seat at every decision-making table? Why? Because trailblazing women drive transformative change. From politics to boardrooms, the presence of fearless women changes the narrative, balances perspectives, and creates opportunities for the next generation. Let’s set the stage for 2025 to be a year where women rise unapologetically as leaders. What’s one strategy you believe can help bring more women into leadership roles in 2025?
