Brands and creators! Steal this Q4 strategy to drive sales. 🎁🚀 Publications have been using gift guides for ages to drive holiday sales, but now it’s time to tap into creator-led gift guides—and here’s why:👇 👉 Authenticity wins. Creators can make their recommendations much more genuine by focusing on a variety of products instead of just one. When they curate a list of your products, their audience listens—and buys. A creator's curated list feels like advice from a trusted friend, not a hard sell. 👉 Interactive and shoppable. By tapping into the social shopping wave, these guides become interactive and shoppable and allow the creator to expand their depth of content. Imagine a video series showcasing gifts creators are buying for each member of their family, with shoppable links at each step. 👉 It’s a win-win. Brands can repost saying they’ve been featured in “Creator XYZ’s Gift Guide,” giving your creators more exposure. At the same time, creators are showcasing your brand to their audience. Double the engagement, double the reach and it creates social proof for both sides driving trust and conversion rates. These shoppable gift guides make it easier than ever for consumers to discover, engage, and buy. Just like those classic magazine spreads, but tailored to today’s social-first, mobile-driven shoppers. Ready to make Q4 your best season yet? Reach out, and let's strategize how you can activate creators to build the ultimate gift guide for your brand. 💥 #Q4Strategy #CreatorEconomy #SocialCommerce #GiftGuide2024 #BrandBuilding

How to Build a Community Without Bricks-and-Mortar 🤝 🧱 Ever wondered how a bread company builds a community without a physical shopfront? For us, our website is our shopfront. Interacting with you is like you’ve walked into our shop! And like any shopkeepers, we always love it when you come in and chat with us 👋 Customer happiness is key to our success. Building a brand is no easy feat, but we do it because we love it and we love YOU, our customers - our very own ambassadors. Your engagement with us goes beyond just buying our bread. We love seeing your delicious bread recipes on social media 😋 This User-Generated Content (UGC) helps us feel connected to you, even without a physical store. We also love reading your positive reviews on Trustpilot. Each positive comment and conversation fuels our commitment to quality and keeps us raising our bread game. Thank YOU to our fellow Breadheads for falling in loaf with our sourdough ❤️ Other brands that use UGC to build strong digital communities: Little Moons successfully use UGC on TikTok to drive brand visibility and engagement. Pip & Nut | B Corp frequently repost user-generated content on their social media channels, creating an authentic connection with their audience and demonstrating the versatility of their products. Beauty Pie focuses on building a community around beauty enthusiasts who share their routines and results. 🔍 How do you leverage customer feedback and UGC to build a strong online community for your brand? Turning Your Website Visitors into Valued Subscribers 🤝 When done right, pop-ups are a golden ticket to understanding and engaging your audience. It's all about the offer. And how it's presented. It should resonate with your target customer and align with your commercial goals. It's important not to default to the standard "sign up for 10% off." 🔑 Why the Right Offer Matters: 👉 Increases Sign-Ups: A compelling offer turns casual browsers into eager subscribers. 👉Drives Conversions: Well-crafted offers lead to higher conversion rates, impacting your bottom line positively. 👉Builds Customer Loyalty: Offers tailored to customer interests lay the foundation for long-term loyalty. Craft an offer that feels like a natural extension of your brand promise while adding undeniable value for your customers. Don't be afraid to play around and test different offers. Monetary value vs percentage off or maybe a free gift with purchase If possible, you can also tie your offer to relevant events in the calendar. This helps it feel more personalised for users. We’ve seen pop-up rates increase by upwards of 110% when the language is tied into a relevant occasion. And this isn’t solely for the obvious events like Christmas. Take a golf brand for example. You could tie your pop-up offer in by piggybacking off ‘Masters Season’. A flower brand could tailor the pop-up around Mother’s Day or Valentine’s. Crafting the perfect pop-up offer isn't just about capturing emails; it's about starting meaningful customer journeys. Make an offer your audience can't resist. 💡 P.S. It’s also important to keep in mind to collect zero-party data at the pop-up stage. This is the highest point of intent and by collecting customers preferences, you can tailor the journey specific to their preferences.

Use what you've got - even if it's an awful selfie! Often to be part of topical events, you feel like you need a touch of genius (go see This Is The One, their brilliant Euros vid with John Barnes and more, you can watch it here, https://lnkd.in/ewEur2Pd) Or, a big budget. Or.... Who knows what barriers you'll create in your mind? But actually, being relevant and part of the conversation can be simple, cheap and super quick. Over at UnBarred Brewery I've helped to create some simple bundles for both Father's Day and the Euros. Just using stock they already had... Put together a bundle with a little extra value to give people an extra incentive to purchase. Grab a snap and pop it live! It's that simple and then you've got something new to talk about on your socials, something to email your database about. Something to freshen up the online shop. You'll be a relevant part of the conversation. And whilst it may not catch all the headlines, it will nudge up those DTC ecomm sales and increase conversion rates. Around 20-25% of people shop online for gifts - therefore put stuff on your website they can buy as presents and they will! Or, they'll stay as inactive, lapsed customers, probably spending their money with a competitor. Game on... what tactics will you choose to boost revenues and engage audiences?

Magic Spoon Make a situation challenging, and present your product as a silver lining; Mornings can be chaotic, but your breakfast doesn’t have to be. 2. HelloFresh seasonal hijacking + sense of urgency = $$$ During the season when everyone is gullible, that’s when you go all in. After all, who doesn't crave a promising New Year's resolution? 3. Tovala The subtle emphasis on benefits over features: buy a Tovala oven for your Tovala meals and you’ll never have to worry about meal prep. 4. Sonos, Inc. Good combination of tagline and imagery. The use of a slightly blurry background cleverly implies motion, reinforcing the idea that the product is designed to keep up with your active lifestyle. 5. Sunday Give your audience an anchor–something concrete, something they can use as a reference point to understand the value of your product. 6. Supergoop! Showcase user satisfaction. This provides your audience with a compelling reason to consider your product 7. Buffy A little trivia makes your ad more convincing. It adds more value to your product and can influence decision-making positively. 8. ClassPass Lots of text, but something typical in B2B. Great headline – straight to the point. 9. It’s 2024, yet so many eCom brands over $5M/year still fall for the same misconception: “I need to grow my SMS list as large as possible to increase revenue.” This sounds logical at first, but the reality is quite different. A large SMS list does not automatically lead to higher profits or better engagement. If having a massive SMS list were the secret to success, brands would be hosting endless giveaways—offering cash prize and free products to anyone willing to subscribe. But here’s the problem: these tactics attract low-quality leads—people who are only there for the free stuff and have no intent to actually buy. Why does this hurt your brand? Not only do these uninterested subscribers bloat your list, but they also increase your costs as your SMS platform bills you for every message sent. You’re essentially paying to market to people who will never convert. So, what’s the real goal? You don’t need a giant list—you need a high-intent list of customers who are ready to buy. How do you build that list? Start by focusing on buyer intent rather than just collecting phone numbers. The best way to do this is by asking the right questions during the opt-in process. Gather insights that help you understand what your potential customers actually need, and you’ll be able to send more relevant, engaging SMS messages. Does asking questions reduce your sign-ups? Not significantly. We’ve run multiple A/B tests and found that the difference in opt-in rates between forms with and without questions is minimal—around 0.1%. But the value of that extra data is massive. It lets you craft tailored messages that resonate with real buyers. By prioritizing quality over quantity, you’ll attract subscribers who are more likely to convert. That means better engagement, more sales, and a more efficient use of your marketing budget. TL;DR: A small, engaged SMS list beats a large, disengaged one every time. Focus on gathering the right subscribers, not just more of them, and you’ll see better results across the board.
