We are passionate about leaving a better future for the next generation. This starts with making EV charging easier and more accessible across Australia and New Zealand.
"We’re powering the way people get to and from work, to pick up the kids and go about their day-to-day lives" says our CEO & Co-Founder Brendan Wheeler. His passion for home charging goes far beyond convenience—it’s about transforming how we live, work, and care for the world he is leaving for his children.
Coming home, plugging in, and knowing your vehicle is ready to take on whatever lies ahead—it’s a step toward a cleaner, better world.
Home charging is a vital component to large scale electrification, but this must work in conjunction with public charging infrastructure - especially in regional areas - to truly allow EVs to surpass traditional vehicles.
We are working to create a future where EVs are no longer the exception, but the standard. From homes to workplaces to public spaces, we are committed to powering progress, innovation, and a cleaner tomorrow.
This is more than a shift in how we move—it’s a movement toward a better world for generations to come.

At a VSC home, charging for us is about powering people's lives. We're powering the way that people get to and from work to pick up their kids and go about their day-to-day lives. So it's really important for us that solutions are simple, seamless and easy to use. In 2014, Sama myself were in Europe and we saw electric vehicles for the first time. It was our first exposure to the technology and we're really taken away by the charges lined across the streets and the fact that the cars had no sound or emissions from them. So he raced back home, started a business. From his garage, we'd seen the future. We were very passionate about what the technology was opening up and because of that we're able to push through that. On the other side of that, now we have a great business that supports Australia's transition to clean emissions vehicles. People are moving to EV's because they see it as just better technology. It's a better experience. I'm Kylie, I'm a mum of two. I've driven an EV for three years. It's really safe to drive. You feel like you can view the road easier. There's a lot of warnings for things that might show up. I feel like they had some reduction is significant compared to a normal petrol vehicle. Charging at home is just seamless. It just means that I don't have to worry about going to a public charging place, waiting around and entertaining two children at the same time. It makes no sense. That's the reason most of my friends that are updating their cars are going to EV. They can just charge it at home and it just salts one of the other life challenges and and now I can not worry about doing petrol. Having an EV's changed my life in many ways. I've got a charging station here at home as well as at work. So for me, I simply wake up fully charged, drive to work, plug in there and I really don't have to go out of my way to do any recharging. On top of that with my smart charger I can utilise off peak times, my solar to make it really, really cheap and clean to charge my EV. Charging an EV is more like powering up your phone than it is putting petrol in your car. You simply come home, plug it in and go to sleep and it's fully charged the next day. For a lot of people range anxiety is a factor which restricts them for for trialling an EV. But what we know is that. According to the ABS, most Australians are travelling about 40K a day with today's TV's with a range of upwards of 400 kilometres that's only charging once or twice a week. Owning an electric vehicle, I know when I go out to go to work or to pick up the kids that I'm doing my bit to reduce my carbon footprint. My name is Brendan Wheeler and I'm the cofounder of ESE and an EV driver.

As the EV revolution accelerates, electric two-wheelers are becoming more popular than ever. But when it comes to powering your ride, should you go for #batteryswapping or #batterycharging? Let’s break it down! ⚡️
👉 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴:
➡️ Time-consuming but widely available. 🕒
➡️ Plug in your EV 2W and wait for the battery to charge, usually taking a few hours.
➡️ Charging infrastructure is growing, but charging times can still be a barrier for on-the-go riders.
👉 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝘄𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴:
➡️ Fast and convenient! 🚀
➡️ Swap out your depleted battery for a fully charged one in just minutes at swapping stations.
➡️ Ideal for those who need quick turnarounds and can access swap stations, which are becoming more common in urban areas.
𝙒𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙝 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪?
Battery charging might be best if you have easy access to charging points and can plan around longer charge times.
Battery swapping is perfect for city commuters who need a fast pit stop and don't want to worry about charging downtime.
💡 As the EV infrastructure continues to evolve, both options will play a crucial role in shaping the future of mobility.
What do you think? Are you team charging or team swapping?

Ensuring the accessibility of EV chargers is paramount for the widespread adoption of electric vehicles. Geographic disparities often leave rural and low-income areas underserved, hindering adoption. Affordability is a concern, with high fees at public chargers and limited access to home charging for some. To enhance convenience, fast chargers must be strategically placed along highways and in urban centers. Inclusivity is vital, requiring accessible features for individuals with disabilities. Collaboration between governments, industry, and communities is key.
Governments should implement supportive policies and funding, while industry players work on standardizing protocols and improving technology. Community engagement and education campaigns are essential for dispelling myths and promoting EV benefits. By addressing these challenges, we can ensure equitable access to EV chargers, fostering a sustainable transportation future for all. #EVCharging#Sustainability#Inclusivity#CleanEnergy 🌱🚗💡
