**New Publication** Our MEL protocol is now published in BMJ Paediatrics Open. Those working on multi-country, interdisciplinary research project involving very large data set understands the value of having a strong MEL framework and procedures. However, in publishing research articles, the supporting MEL method is often not given the prominence it deserves. We are changing perspectives around that.
