What's the most fun thing about about being a TA Leader at LinkedIn? Well for me, it's getting the chance to take part in unique peer-to-peer connections with our customers. And today was one of those fun days. I am just catching my breath after spending the day speaking to TA and Talent professionals from around the DACH region as part of today's #linkedintalentconnectdach event in Munich. It was a packed agenda with some amazing keynote speakers engaging the audience on the topic of "Work Changes Today: The Best Way to Predict the Future is to Create It". Lots of great insights on the disruption and opportunity (see below!) from AI in the Talent space, embracing a culture of change within our organisations and deep diving on the practical experiences of a range of panel guests from across this diverse DACH region. I also hosted a break-out panel session with Tatjana Jovanovic Carina M. Pennig and Alexander Heise sharing some of our latest Future of Recruiting 2024 data points and insights as part of a discussion on "The New Era of Talent Acquisition". It was great to see so many talented TA and Talent leaders here in one room - networking and exploring the big trends for hiring. No surprises, AI was a hot topic - including the LinkedIn team sharing how AI is embedded in LinkedIn Talent Solutions tools to help teams harness the power of generative AI to source great talent, set new career goals and open up new opportunities for internal mobility as we all focus on the reshaping of skills in our evolving roles. My big takeaway - as mentioned above - was from a panel discussion with Enzo Weber who is an advocate for reframing the conversation on the dangers of AI to embracing the opportunities this will bring to change the way work gets done.
