There's tons of advice on creating and maintaining a work/life balance. The most important factor in achieving this goal is YOU. YOU need to prioritize and stick to it. YOU need to set boundaries and stick to them. YOU need to be able to say "no." You get the gist. I say this as someone who has set off on this road of balance with the greatest of intentions, nonetheless, finding myself overworked, overburdened, and overwhelmed. So what happened?? As the great Taylor Swift once said, "It's me. Hi, I'm the problem, it's me." YOU need to use the tools of work/life balance consistently without constantly making exceptions for others. YOU have control. YOU can do this! (YOU will be successful & feel better - oh, and put your phone away now)
