❗An AI always hallucinates! ❗An AI is a f***ing bad computer, but a nearly perfect human! ❗An AI in business always needs a double-check with a human! 🎃 What do you think? It's Halloween, soon, so... Trick or treat? True or false? 🫣 Well... Talking in general - an AI indeed always hallucinates! If you ask ChatGPT, you always get the "most likely answer" to your question. Which does not always mean that this answer is fully correct... I think we all stumbled over some ChatGPT answers here and there that weren't as precise and correct as we liked to. Which usually is OK for private usage. But would I be happy as - let's say - an Insurance Company if my AI Agent would always give 95%-correct answers? 🚫 Think one step further and you want to build an AI-guided process with 5 steps. If every step would deliver a 5% failure quote, I could close my business faster that I spell "A-U-T-O-N-O-M-O-U-S-A-G-E-N-T". 💡 So what's the secret here? As an 𝐀𝐈-𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩, we attend many AI events and talk to other AI founders. Here are my learnings from the past 18 months since the time ChatGPT became a rage: 1) 𝐀𝐈 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐫: People started using ChatGPT and found that it added a lot of value to their daily lives. They can write emails, articles, etc. Thus, they stick to it 2) 𝐀𝐈 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐫: Currently, we are at this stage. Businesses, especially the small ones (or small teams in large businesses) realize that there could be time and task efficiency in using AI - Companies like midjourney, invideo; Presentations.AI are solving very focused tasks for prosumers and they are super successful 3) 𝐀𝐈 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥/𝐦𝐢𝐝 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬: Next in this line will be AI specifically for small businesses. To my understanding, there is a big opportunity here. Small businesses usually have very small tech teams and managing CRMS, ticketing software, telephony, website, warehousing, and then creating reports on these is a huge task. Think here about a GPT for small businesses where it can create all your IT infra by just text prompts and you are spared of huge implementation costs. This will be big and there is a huge opportunity here. It might disrupt the incumbents (Think Salesforce, Zendesk, etc) 4) 𝐀𝐈 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬: Probably, the biggest and the slowest opportunity. Big enterprises are huge when it comes to IT systems not talking to each other and teams working in silos. There is enough intelligence in each system but it can't cross-breed - The impact is bad CX, lost business opportunities, and lack of coordination. With enterprises having huge budgets for AI, this is going to change; they will start getting actionable rather than just reports. What kind of actionable you may ask - Think of you putting in data and the AI can marry that available public data to predict your next market expansion. Or AI predicting your customer churn or your cost of customer service/customer and how to reduce it or change the pricing for that customer to improve margins. All this will be available as a clear action to be performed. So, AI is here to say and change our lives. Key PMM Lessons from the #100DaysOfAI Throughout the #100DaysOfAI challenge, I’ve explored a variety of AI tools that have helped me become more efficient and strategic as a Product Marketer. From data visualization to automating workflows, AI has reshaped how I approach my role. Here are some key takeaways: 🎯 Data Storytelling: Tools like Napkin AI and Albus allowed me to visualize and explain data, turning complex insights into compelling narratives. By incorporating Airtable, I gained a deeper appreciation for data structure and visualization, which enhanced my ability to analyze and present insights effectively. 🎯Automation for Efficiency: Leveraging Browse AI, AskYourPDF, and Chipp, I automated manual tasks like data extraction and document analysis, freeing up time for high-impact strategic work. 🎯Content Creation: With OpusClip, Kapwing, AdCreative.ai, and Gamma, I generated engaging product narratives and visuals faster, enabling more creativity in how I position products. 🎯Strategic Thinking: I transformed ChatGPT into my personal think tank to critique and refine my Go-to-Market strategy, comparing various approaches and identifying gaps. For research, Perplexity became my go-to tool, providing credible, cited sources to back up strategic decisions. Teach to Reach – During the past 99 days, several new connections reached out to me, recommending tools and brainstorming use cases together. It was incredible to see how our shared insights sparked new ideas and innovations.
