The standard "suggestion box" is lame- there, I said it. And exit surveys feels too late. Yet study after study shows that gathering feedback is an effective way to improve organizational results in areas such as workflow, DEI, benefits utilization... and a lot more! What are some of the most creative ways you have gathered employee feedback? These are a few suggestions I've written about before, but I wonder if there are better, field tested ways: 👩🏽💻 Software- programs that regularly ask for employee feedback on specific topics. 📣Intra-net/employee boards- kudos or message boards that go straight to HR or employee relations 🍣Lunch with an executive- senior leaders take employees out to lunch to get to know them and hear their ideas. 💬Focus groups- get a group together on a specific topic and mine for feedback 🗣️Stay interviews- asking employees what keeps them at their place of work. #help #hr #phr #sphr #shrm #hrci #fridayfocus
