We missed something in our planning for this year and thankfully a client called us out on it. 🙏
The tailwinds are behind innovation in 2024🎉
New listings left, right and centre - and a crazy amount of growth in existing accounts.
Tesco, Waitrose & Partners, Asda, Sainsbury's, Morrisons, WHSmith, Boots UK, Superdrug, Holland & Barrett, Booths, Ocado Retail Ltd, Brakes UK, Compass Group, Aldi UK, Lidl GB, Pets at Home...the list goes on.
Very quickly the sales teams are being forced to step up - to manage bigger and higher potential accounts. 🚀
They need to understand how to navigate promotions smartly, to be hot on rate of sale, to master compliance and OSA, to get JBPs right. The list goes on.
A lot of it is relatively straightforward, when you know what to do. But the opportunity cost of getting it wrong is huge.
And often the person hasn't been trained in this stuff before. There are no 12 month graduate schemes in challenger brands unfortunately.
The pressure is real.
Historically we have run an #accountmanagement training programme to help teams understand what good NAMming looks like but for some reason, we didn't put it onto our training curriculum this year.
But thankfully our clients talk to us.
And they told us to sort it out.
So we have brought back our much loved National Account Management Training programme taking place in May this year.
🎓 2 days
🎓 In person in London
🎓Focused on large national accounts (across all channels)
🎓Talking all things NAM related
🎓With other challenger brand NAEs and NAMs in the room
Thank you to the people pushing us - you know who you are 😉

Bigger picture please keep talking to us if you need other #training or support folks. We want your teams to be the best they can be always and will take your feedback or suggestions on board.
