As a social media manager, I don’t believe in deleting content. Platforms are so fickle, and when even something as slight as the time you hit post can effect content performance, it’s not worth punishing, demonizing, nor catastrophizing your content or your team when performance doesn’t surpass benchmarks. It is NOT the algorithm. It is you. Okay I am not gonna sugarcoat things, but let's be real for a minute. There is a lot of chatter that the engagement graph is falling day by day. But let's not straight away point fingers at the algorithm. The responsibility is yours to shape your content strategy. If it's not deliberate, considerate, and aligned with what your audience craves, it might be time for a change. Social media can be chaotic.
