This small shift has created the nicest atmosphere to work in, and I can say that confidently because I’ve experienced it firsthand. #WhyCintas Because I’ve only been apart of this team for a little over a year and a half and: 1)     My team know my wife’s name. And my children’s name 2)     My team ask me about what I did over the weekend and what I’m doing coming up next weekend 3)     My team push me to look at myself and how I can be better, both professionally and personally 4)     My time that I spend with my team is the most important part of my work-week 5)     My team is interested in me getting better 6)     I have a mentor 7)     I have a mentor that isn’t my mentor to move on professionally but is genuinely invested in who I am and who I am becoming 8)     I have a supervisor that wanted to find out who I was and where I was looking to go. 9) I am not afraid of failing because I know I will always have a soft landing and helping hand back up. 10)     I look forward to coming to work EVERY SINGLE DAY 11)   Even if I haven’t seen a teammate, in over a year, there is nothing but smiles, hugs and laughter 12)   I literally have a monthly meeting titled “Because We’re Friends” 13)   I get to talk to candidates and help them join a team that is willing and able to do everything for them that they’ve done for me. 14) I'm not competing against my team, I'm competing with my team. 15) And oh, yeah, we're a Fortune 500 company that has grown consistently in the last 50+ years. Want to hear about all the people that I know that have been promoted? How much time do you have? And most importantly, #WhyCintas, because the list above didn’t refer to anybody as a co-worker, we’re a team. Even though I work with people in Texas, Arizona, Connecticut, Wisconsin, New York and every other state, and Canada, I haven’t personally found a closer team that is more interested in each other’s goals than their own.
