The Top 10 Valleys Elevator Pitches also took the stage, showcasing innovative European companies, including RIX Riga Airport. Additionally, invaluable networking opportunities throughout the day further strengthened collaboration efforts. 📈 The energy sector has grown rapidly in recent years, making up nearly a third of global investments - this underscores the industry's vast potential. This program is an opportunity to collaborate with other companies and explore new ideas and projects. ✅Participation in MadBlue (MadBlue Summit) This event focuses on innovation, science and culture at the service of the Blue Economy. It is a space where entrepreneurs, investors and leaders of the future come together to share knowledge and build ties that drive change towards a better planet and society. ✅ Participation in the second edition of the Science and Innovation Fair in Asturias The fair aims to promote science, technology and innovation and also provides a space for companies, educational institutions and scientific organizations to present their progress and projects. ✅ Technical tests: H2Vector's technical team has been busy performing tests on our hydrogen solutions. We have made carbon-negative packaging in partnership with TripleW, supported by the BIRD Foundation and Washington State Department of Commerce, and we're both working on scaling. Early feasibility was demonstrated with the USDA and funded by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This project in Antwerp is allowing TripleW to scale, and is an important milestone in our plan for decarbonizing the packaging and waste industries. If all the world's packaging were made from discarded food waste, it would eliminate well over 5% of climate change. Our technology makes carbon-negative packaging truly cost-competitive with conventional packaging, TripleW's makes it carbon negative. People I've been speaking to over the last ten years - we're now seeking pilot orders and plan to be making some great announcements over the next few months! Batteries are a key technology for achieving the transition to a sustainable energy system. Today, Asian players account for a very large share of the batteries that are now found in various applications, but Europe and Sweden have opportunities and ambitions to become increasingly important players in this market. Requirements for battery performance, lifespan and sustainability are being driven by the rapid development of electric vehicles and an increasing proportion of fossil-free energy sources in the energy system. There is a race between different actors and nations to develop the next generation of batteries and Sweden has a good position to start from. – The Swedish innovation system offers good opportunities for battery innovations to develop, but at the same time, international actors perceive the system as complex. Sweden needs to clarify all the expertise and innovation power that exists here and that can offer international battery players a place for collaboration and joint development, says Göran Stegrin, Business Developer at the Swedish Energy Agency.
