Something very important to note for the foreign educated nurses interested to migrate to the US on H1B.All foreign educated nurses must meet costs of their immigration assessment and credentials evaluation/verification with the US immigration lawyers till getting US Government and employers approvals to avoid falsification of qualifications and Employers' costs effectiveness.See bellow Some fake nurses were charged US courts of law because fake certificates; Certificate forgery: 43 Nigerian nurses face criminal charges in US https://lnkd.in/g5YhnF9j Best wishes The Jaes Program https://lnkd.in/ek3YCyBu

Yes, the ministry is concerned. Unfortunately, concern alone is not enough to bridge this growing gap. Being close to Malaysian nurses literally all my life (thanks to my mom Ms. Mary Elizabeth - the pioneer in creating job opportunities for nurses abroad), it's sad to note that we're still having the same conversations decades later. Oh no! We're 'losing' our nurses. In my opinion, it's not a bad thing that nurses leave to gain international experience. In fact, it's a great thing! They become critical thinkers, they learn to communicate effectively in English and other foreign languages, they gain nursing experience that they could never get back home because of the volume and types of cases received, they become extremely skilled, they practice nursing policies & procedures that are of international standards, they learn to work in multi-national teams, they become leaders because they are finally given a chance based on performance & merits, they finally have a voice to make decisions and contribute their expertise in patient care, they are seen as equals and they become unstoppable, and the list goes on and on. Oh let's not forget that finally, they're able to earn decent salaries to fund their financial dreams. They pay off their debts, complete their degrees, pay for their children's education and have leftovers for their next big dream. The point is, it's not a bad thing that they leave. They become more competent and skilled and return home with so much more to offer. They're longing to contribute to raising our patient care & healthcare standards. Unfortunately, they're often seen as a threat and are treated unfairly for reasons I cannot comprehend. So to address the ministry's concern that our nurses are leaving, may I suggest that we shift the focus to 1) how we can attract more students into the profession by making the Malaysian nursing career path a lucrative one, one that encourages international exposure 2) how can we appreciate our current nurses in Malaysia by allowing them to have a voice. Let them tell you themselves what it would take for them to stay - and believe me it's beyond just higher salaries 3) how can we welcome all our thousands of highly skilled overseas experienced nurses - allow them to come home and contribute, even if it's a part-time gig. These nurses who have big dreams of wanting to come home and give back are often turned away in different ways and they end up leaving again - feeling shocked, sad and unwelcomed in their home country. So yes, it takes a lot of will, hard work and difficult decisions to ensure we address this critical shortage that not just Malaysia but the world is facing. Nurses ARE a big deal. Without them, the many hospitals we have and are continuing to build - cannot exist. If you're a nurse, do share in the comments what else the ministry could do to address this. #fridaythoughts #nursesonlinkedin #malaysiannurses

For all the efforts by NZ Inc. Health NZ, Immigration NZ and the individual nurses involved, not least of which is the $10k the immigrant nurses pay for proof of competency it should be but the work of a moment for someone smart in Health NZ to direct immigrants into vacant jobs in hospitals. None of us have ever gone into a job knowing 100% of what we needed to know, let alone what will be needed next year or the year after. So what if it takes a few weeks of closer-than-normal supervision and a bit of coaching to get to 100%? It's still quicker and cheaper than waiting three years for the nurses who started this week at university. All it takes is one smart executive with the authority of the CEO to override local nitpicking. There should be no unemployed nurses in NZ. https://lnkd.in/g2E7_D46

Diploma Recognition in Germany 🧑🎓 If you are planning to move to Germany for work, you may have considered recognizing your qualifications. Germany has different rules depending on the region and profession. For example, healthcare workers must have their diplomas and qualifications recognized to work in the country. On the other hand, IT professionals are not legally required to do so, though it can enhance job opportunities. 💡Stay tuned: The Skilled Immigration Act 2024 introduces updates that may make recognition optional for some non-regulated fields. However, for regulated professions and trades, it remains mandatory. At K&K, we simplify the diploma recognition process for nurses. We guide healthcare workers through every step, from preparing documents to settling in Germany. 🔎 Source: https://lnkd.in/eRinUuqF #diplomarecognition #Germany #healthcareworkers #nursing #nurses #registerednurses #enfermaria #jobmarket #ITworkers
