One of the things I learned in the last 4 months Is
Always celebrate your wins, no matter how big or small they are.
I have been the kind of person to shy away from celebration.
I never celebrate my wins; I never knew why until now.
I found out that I considered my wins too insignificant to celebrate.
And I also considered celebrations too lame, something like that.
But when I see people celebrating things I don't even consider wins
Am like, this is my every day, this is not even something worth celebrating
But I did not know I was limiting myself internally
The fact that I was not rewarding myself, limited my motivation to do more
I learned that when you celebrate your victory, your wins
You are inspired to want to achieve more victories to want to win more.
I also learned that people are attracted to winners,
But I never celebrated any of my own.
I landed a massive 7 figure deal a few months ago,
But I did not make noise; I was like, naaah, it's not a big deal.
But if I did celebrate it, just maybe, it would have given me more credibility in the eyes of my audience.
Because people are attracted to winners.
Oh well, I know, I once said I would only celebrate millions
But until then, I will celebrate even the smallest wins from now.
For example, I just got to 2k followers on LinkedIn.
Not just any 2k followers, but Corporate 2k followers.
This is a project I have been working on for 6 months since I opened this account.
I didn’t just want to have random followers and connections.
I wanted to make sure I had up to 1.5k C-Suites, and I achieved that last week.
So cheers to me, and one more thing, tomorrow is my birthday.
So 1 more celebration to have!!
PS: do you celebrate your every win?
