Please celebrate small wins. There are loads of opportunities to do so be we often forget to. I feel that the biggest things this does is that it helps us handle the big losses better. There are loads of them too. After I started celebrating them, over the years, they have become a coping mechanism for me. Celebrations don't mean you get drunk every chance you get. Take a breather, congratulate yourself and just have a chai or something. Thats it. It helps because we are going through so much throughout the day, taking a minute registers the win in your head. If you don't, it passes. Without any positive reinforcement. Don't let it escape. So please, the next time you get a chance, celebrate an idea release or a line approval or a good pitch or just making to work on time every day for a week. Whatever it is. Give it the minute it deserves. Find the small win and have that small celebration.

Aalap Desai it is truly amazing what you say Celebrate small wins. I do that often. For every wonderful dialogue my character may speak through me - for a call from a veteran actor who liked my script - and so on and so forth. It may not necessarily lead to the win that you dreamt of but celebrating these little wins would definitely give you the encouragement to keep going and reach ultimately to what you deserve. And yes like you rightly said - getting drunk may not be always the reward - I usually reward myself with a cup of tea.

Humans are wired to chase the next big idea or campaign, but it’s the small wins that keep the momentum alive.

On our team, we have regular "victory laps" where we get together and the only item on the agenda is to share small and or big wins we've achieved for exactly this reason - to recognize all we do and have a moment to build each other up.
