Hiring for your team requires you to know the following: 1. What are the qualities you appreciate of the new joinee? 2. What are the qualities that you exhibit? 3. What do you value as attributes and attitude in the team? 4. Do you want someone who is smart and expert in her/his game? 5. Do you want someone who is good at taking instructions and following through? Answering these questions before you sit to evaluate anyone for your team is imperative. This is also a definition about you. The things that you value, are consistent about doing and believing in. Hiring is an art.
