Daily disciplines drive big picture outcomes. Prepare ✅ Put in the reps ✅ Let the little daily wins compound. In football we all love a Hail Mary. But the team that gets the most 1st downs tends to win. #Sales #Success #Consistency

Big message today, have confidence in what you are doing (and why) but makes sure how you are doing things is right, so says Jeffrey Gitomer. Don't attribute failure to a personal trait or characteristic, sometimes you can be brilliant and not win (in sales that counts as a failure). In sales as in sports there is always another game along in a minute and once again you can build on the things you did well last time and improve on those we could have ben better at. Today is a day for every #salesleader to reflect on the plan we have for executing our next big deal (all facets). We know if we nail every element we will probably win - so let's do that! #jeffreygitomer #salesleadership #positivemindset

Are Your Sales Reps Ready for the Big Game? 🏈 "Watching the Jets last night was a tough reminder that even with star power, a lack of discipline can cost you the game. Those penalties were drive-killers! It got me thinking about sales teams. Are yours ready to perform when the pressure's on, or are they prone to "penalties" that blow deals? Here are a few "sales penalties" to watch out for: Lack of preparation: Going into calls without a solid understanding of the prospect's business. Overpromising and under delivering: Setting unrealistic expectations that lead to disappointment. False Starts: Jumping into the pitch before understanding the customer's needs. Holding: Clinging to outdated scripts and failing to adapt to the conversation. Delay of Game: Slow follow-up, missed deadlines, and poor time management. Offsides: Pushing for the close too early and scaring off the prospect. Poor communication: Not listening to client needs or providing unclear information. Just like in football, these mistakes can derail even the most talented team. How do you coach your team to avoid these pitfalls? Share your tips in the comments! 👇 #sales #performance #discipline #leadership #football #vxi

Let’s face it. No one is 100% in the world of sales. Very often, the company hero is the person who is winning 30% of the time. It may sound contradictory, but try to celebrate the lessons you learn from failure. If you’re having trouble with that, that’s exactly what we’re here for. Message me on LinkedIn and let’s have a conversation. #LeadershipDevelopment #SalesTraining #ProfessionalGrowth #SandlerTraining #BusinessCoaching

Had a new friend share this insightful perspective with me today. In the world of business, we are divided into two categories: Sales and Sales Support. A leader once told me that "Sales is a clan, a tribe if you will." It makes you wonder, why does the tail wag the dog? #salesprofessionals

"Prepare (in order) to win" is a phrase that most sales teams would recognise. Jeffrey Gitomer is shining the light on building our presentation and doing so with quality input that gives us every chance of success. Professional sports teams leave nothing to chance, they prepare with a focused plan based on their strengths, however they acknowledge that sometimes they have to cover off a strategy that the opponent is going to play. As #businessleaders we sometimes have to play this card too. As #salesleaders we know how important telling the client story with our solution is. We have to take them to the place where the client feels like they are going to succeed (win) and they need our help to do it. Also they need to feel that we have a unique capability to help them on the journey. Prepare well, deliver with logic and emotion, create a vision for success and you are likely to deliver exactly to plan - today's target! #jeffreygitomer #salesleadership #positivemindset
