Big message today, have confidence in what you are doing (and why) but makes sure how you are doing things is right, so says Jeffrey Gitomer. Don't attribute failure to a personal trait or characteristic, sometimes you can be brilliant and not win (in sales that counts as a failure). In sales as in sports there is always another game along in a minute and once again you can build on the things you did well last time and improve on those we could have ben better at. Today is a day for every #salesleader to reflect on the plan we have for executing our next big deal (all facets). We know if we nail every element we will probably win - so let's do that! #jeffreygitomer #salesleadership #positivemindset

Daily disciplines drive big picture outcomes. Prepare ✅ Put in the reps ✅ Let the little daily wins compound. In football we all love a Hail Mary. But the team that gets the most 1st downs tends to win. #Sales #Success #Consistency

I love this Mickey Mantle quote. It offers perspective. Mantle is considered one of the greatest to ever don the Yankee pinstripes. Yet, 70% of his at bats resulted in an out. As he points out, it’s like going 7 seasons without a hit. How do you work your way out of a slump? What’s the mindset when you’re not performing like you know you should? Good sales leaders are like good hitting coaches. They observe “hitches in your swing” and help you change course. Is there anything else you take away from the Mickey Mantle quote? hashtag #saleseffectiveness

Hockey is more than just a sport, it teaches us valuable skills that we can apply in life and business. One skill in particular that salespeople can learn from is anticipation. Wayne Gretzky, also known as the Great One, was able to see the game differently than his opponents and anticipate two to three steps ahead of everyone else. In sales, we need to have this same focus and mentality. We have to anticipate where the sales call could go and be prepared for all contingencies. Let's take inspiration from the Great One and strive to be the best salespeople we can be. #sales #businessskills #WayneGretzky #anticipation #inspiration Andrew Hamilton Chris O'Reilly Bentley University Lynn Wolf, CPA Vaughn Williams Roger McNamara Lucas Vanroboys Will Garin Business Insider Matt Moran Joe Moran

Leading a Sales team with no plan and just doing a wide spray to attract clients will give you and your team poor results. When you join a professional Football or other Sports team, the first thing they do is hand you their Playbook. It should be the same for you and your Sales team, especially when you have new team members. This way all can be clear on understanding who the company is, who we help, how we help and most importantly, why we do what we do. Reach out to learn more and get your sales team and leader your own customized Sales Playbook! #salesplaybook #planforsucess #winning #teamplanning

Greatness isn’t about never fumbling; it’s about picking the ball back up and turning a mistake into a win. Sales is a lot like football—you’re playing hard, everything’s going according to plan, and then, boom, the ball slips through your fingers. In that split second, it feels like it’s all over. But here’s the thing. We all drop the ball in sales sometimes—unanswered emails, missed opportunities, rejections…. But what matters is how we respond. Just like in football, it’s not about the fumble, it’s about the recovery. The real pros know how to bounce back, adapt, and score when it counts. Keep running, no matter how many times you drop the ball. #ResilienceInSales #SalesMindset #BounceBack
