In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape, the role of startup ecosystems has never been more critical. As hubs of innovation and entrepreneurship, these ecosystems are indispensable for governments aiming to drive technological advancement and elevate their positions in the global value chain. Developing the ecosystem is pivotal now for emerging markets in Asia with ambitions to become tech hubs. This also touches on the work we are undertaking with United Nations ESCAP where we are working with established and SMEs in the digital sector to target foreign direct investment as an alternative to traditional financing, VC, and angel investors.
