NEW: Trend Reports x AI Podcast You're Trend tired [I get it] but still curious about what 100+ Trend reports have to say? I selected 30 of my favourites covering a mix of industries, agencies and brands to see what Google's NotebookLM could discover. ➡️ Vola: A 25-Min Podcast for your listening [and tired] eyes pleasure. “It’s not just about chasing the shiny new object. It's about understanding the deeper, why behind the what” ➡️ My Prompts: - What’s the big trend for 2025, and why does it matter? - Where are unexpected industries teaming up? - Which consumer behaviours are catching brands off guard? - What emerging markets need attention now? - Which trends are game-changers vs. hype? - Where are brands falling short on promises? - How is innovation evolving? - Which industries are leading cultural shifts? - What overlooked insight could give an edge? - What’s the most surprising trend? With gratitude to community cheerleaders Zoe ScamanBen Malbon  from Google for sparking the idea. #Trend x AI Podcast Link & Reports below: Note: We still encourage you to explore within the file [and outside of it], but please share your experiments, too - we have something really exciting coming in January! c/o Iolanda Carvalho, Gonzalo Gregori, Ci En L. and myself, Amy Daroukakis Let us know what you think!

This is an AMAZING use of NotebookLM. Super cool. Very nicely done. The podcast itself is very listenable to, easy to sit back with a cup of tea. I actually found it genuinely entertaining (but it's possible I have developed too much of a slight crush on the two hosts). Such a powerful way to do so much distillation in such an accessible and fun way. I wonder if you can post a list of the 30 sources you used to create the podcast? By the way I did my own trial with exactly 100 of your sources as PDFs and it worked amazingly well (though the podcast was a hefty 52 minutes - more a pot of tea than a cup). Adding Tirthankar Bose Zahaan Bharmal Torsten Schuppe Laura Roberts Dan Germain Marie Van Blaricum Olivia Ma Marvin Chow Debra Ladd (Stephens) Josh Woodward Raiza Martin for info, inspiration (and in the case of Josh and Raiza, gratitude! . . . it is Thanksgiving Week after all).

Nice! I tried to upload your entire collection to both NotebookLM and a custom Claude bot and discovered they couldn’t deal with that much data 😤

I have to warn you all that Notebook podcasts have trouble discerning between claimed fact and projected scenarios and forecasts. Anything it finds written in the documents it will take as fact. It will therefore take author hypothesis and conjecture and present with certainty to keep the story going. Notebooks LLM is good, but the voice thing is bad for future scenario work.

Very interesting. Although one thing I've noticed about AI content is that the IKEA effect is very real. Meaning, your own AI-generated content is fascinating. But others' far less so. (Obviously I'm biased, because this is the use case that I'm exploring most heavily - https://www.linkedin.com/posts/henry-coutinho-mason-3689572_lets-discuss-the-future-of-the-big-e-word-activity-7259627074489929730-SlXq?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_ios

This is fantastic, thanks for doing this and sharing both the summary and the source content. Maybe I've played around too much with NotebookLM and these two hosts, but they seem to almost undermine the quality of the content with their 'accessible' style. It would be interesting to compare what they did versus how you authors would present it. Great use case though! What did you think of their summary, Amy?
