Thinking back to my former selling days it seems wild to actually see a number behind the amount of time we switch between tools. My days as an SDR would look something like this: -Update Salesforce -Find some leads in Sales Navigator -Message those leads in Outreach -Research companies on Google -Create an account map to visualize my buying committee I was constantly running in circles between multiple tools to find the information that I needed. Here's a peek into our strategy and execution: ➔ We meticulously researched and identified 440 potential customers from our client's competitors using SFDC reports and intent signals. ➔ We carried out thorough competitive research and developed clear positioning to differentiate our client's offerings from the competitors. ➔ We created a range of assets, including single image ads, conversational ads, carousel ads, and in-mails, tailored to engage competitor audiences effectively. ➔We introduced incentive programs for salespeople to motivate high engagement and swift conversion of leads. Before reaching out to sales, B2B buyers are more than 70% of the way through the funnel. So, the two questions you should be asking are . . . 1. How do I track leads through the funnel? 🔀 2. How do I accelerate their progression through the funnel? 🏃♂️ 💨 It seems almost unbelievable, but I can't tell you how many companies I see on a regular basis with a ton of valuable content that goes to waste (not to mention that it's all incredibly disorganized). Oh, and I did I mention . . . 1. aligning content to funnel stages? 2. leveraging your site's information architecture to make the content journey more appealing and engaging? Perhaps you think that in order to implement #marketing platforms, automation, etc., they'll have to spend 💰10k, 💰15K, or 💰20K (or more) on HubSpot, Marketing Cloud Salesforce, or Adobe Marketo software and implementation. Maybe you think I'll have to hire a team of FTEs to make this work. Maybe you think it's not worth it because "Marketing doesn't work" (i.e., "I paid my nephew to run some Google Ads once, and nothing happened." 😤 Whatever the case may be, the truth is that simple platforms and strategies can be implemented to improve funnel insight, acceleration, lead management, and scoring. Do you have a full 360 customer view - really? 🤔 Or do you not know what happens on LinkedIn organically between your teams and your key prospects...? 😓 As the role of LinkedIn continues to expand in B2B sales, it’s time for marketing and sales leaders to recognize a critical gap: #organic #LinkedIn interactions are almost always missing from how we assess buyer readiness. How do you expect to have a full #360customerview - if you do not know what your prospects are talking about on LinkedIn? What messages are they sending, or responding to? What content is resonating? Which LinkedIn events triggered them? 🛑 Why it matters: LinkedIn engagement is where the gold is 🌈 . When a prospect engages with posts, attends webinars, or exchanges messages with your team, it’s a clear indicator of interest and intent. Yet, most CRMs and ABM platforms fail to track these touch points effectively - and focus on traditional channels that are losing effectiveness (eg. email, ads etc.) Sales, Marketing, Account Management, and Customer Success all touch prospects on LinkedIn - organically in a personal 1-1 way!
