A key point: Southeast Asian nations are seeking to exercise their agency and not have to choose sides but to choose what is in their best interest. The question is: Can they do it? How much latitude do countries have to hinge between the US and China, or are they somehow more beholden to one or the other and therefore must generally hinge more that way?

I am delighted to share that my academic article, "Integration in Central Asia: Problems and Prospects for Unity," has been published in the international journal 'Science and Innovation,' Volume 3, Issue 7. This publication represents a culmination of extensive research and analysis on the regional integration processes in Central Asia, addressing both the inherent challenges and the potential pathways to achieving greater unity and cooperation.
