You can't help to be proud of your national carrier and how far it has grown with the development of Singapore since 1972 (when the airline is known in its current form). We have gotten so good at it that we are advising airports all over the world through CAG and I often see our national carrier and it's associated companies as a distillation if the many competencies that Singapore has developed today. If there is a group of companies flying under a common flag (literally) that embodies the survival instincts and the go-getting innovation of our founding fathers, this has to be it, I look forward to their sustainability efforts through food, fuel and airport management in the future. #SATS #SingaporeAirlines #Singapore #Airports #Food #Sustainability #CAG

This is a big, big story on many levels. It says so much about the future (and the present) of Saudi Arabia's travel retail, aviation, food & beverage and tourism sectors. It says so much about where our industry's most powerful players are placing their bets. It says so much about the determination of a forward-thinking airport company to make a difference. Riyadh Airports Corporation has pulled off a tremendous result in its multi-faceted F&B tender for King Khalid International Airport with a blockbuster cast of sector stakeholders sharing the spoils. In the aviation industry Onboard Services are one of the most important key of success. In my opinion all the Airlines in the Top 10 have an organisation with a specific focus on Inflight Services including Design, Operations, Planning and Quality. Catering Management are embracing innovation and sustainability concepts that needs to be included in all the Operational Processes. In the next future all the Airlines are going to work on their Organisation and on skilled people to give the right importance to the On-board Services. #airlines #catering #onboardservices #innovation

"Where do you see yourself in 5 years" is a question many of us constantly ask ourselves. Five years ago, I was working for ARAMCO and used all my savings to open TAKARA. Unfortunately, shortly after opening, COVID hit and forced us to close down. I vividly remember the words of one of our waiters, who is now one of our fearless leaders, on the day we reopened to the public. He said, "Boss, the worst is behind us. Now we will turn this place into the best restaurant in Saudi Arabia." It took TAKARA a lot of passion and hospitality to achieve just that. Today, we were honored with one of the most prestigious hospitality awards worldwide, "Best Restaurant in Saudi Arabia," by The #worldculinaryawards2024! We are accepting this recognition with humbleness and understanding of the responsibility it represents. Being "the Best" in something means that you need to always be at the top of your game, but also it means that you need to continuously challenge yourself and your team to improve and become "even better”. If there is one thing I have learned from the hospitality industry, it is that the competition is intense and everyone is always improving – and you should, too. Today, we celebrate, but from tomorrow, we have 364 days ahead to prove that we are still the best. Who knows, maybe next time we'll be among "the Best in the World." #saudivision2030 #saudimade #saudiarabia #sauditourism #saudiprojects #saudibusiness #AmbitionandProsperity #ministryofculture #ministryoftourism #takarahospitalitygroup #gea #
