As we approach the end of 2024 and prepare to welcome 2025, it's a great time to reflect on what we truly need from leaders in higher education. The context for higher ed in 2025 is dramatically different, and Scott Carlson's latest article highlights traits that resonate deeply with me: emotional intelligence and humility. In my experience, these qualities can be challenging to find in higher ed leadership. So, let’s ask ourselves: Do you have leaders like this around you? Can you reconnect with them? And if you’re an executive leader, what’s missing to bring these traits to the forefront in your leadership? Let’s start the new year with intentionality and a commitment to leadership that inspires and endures. #HigherEdLeadership #EmotionalIntelligence #LeadershipMatters #LeadWithHumility https://lnkd.in/gFKaP5kM
