Teams compete to complete various volunteer-led activities that put their professional and personal skills to the test. The Challenge is held twice annually – in April and in December.

    We hosted small meet & greet discussion groups for DESIGNATION Labs' bootcamp students to ask us questions about various aspects of working in digital, our work, internal culture and processes. All students had one or more areas of concentration and given our multi-disciplinary backgrounds we took the opportunity to address very specific questions and impart advice on careers in digital.

    In a digital world, some people still love their paper. Believe it or not, some still ask "why go paperless?" Well in addition to providing a valuable service to our customers and saving some trees, I designed a feature from start to finish that automatically opted users into being paperless customers ... and if they were too darn stubborn to give it a try and unchecked, the feature highlighted the benefits. We've seen an approximately 90% opt-in to paperless which will save Capital One about 1…

    In a digital world, some people still love their paper. Believe it or not, some still ask "why go paperless?" Well in addition to providing a valuable service to our customers and saving some trees, I designed a feature from start to finish that automatically opted users into being paperless customers ... and if they were too darn stubborn to give it a try and unchecked, the feature highlighted the benefits. We've seen an approximately 90% opt-in to paperless which will save Capital One about 1 milliion dollars a year.

    That's just for one of our partners, when you add the future savings up across all partners, that number will jump and grow increasingly. The best part: it's good for everyone!

    Working closely with an ACD and CD, I was the art director designing and shaping the Rising Tide social campaign's various components including but not limited to Facebook/Twitter/Tumblr/Microsite (page and apps), social posts, inspirational videos and content featuring Russell Simmons, social media schedules, and online advertising.
