You're a Sales professional juggling work-life balance and targets. How can you find harmony between the two?
This is tough and something I'm working on, but a few items that have helped: A) Have the talk with your partner and family. B) Outsource the stuff that suck energy out of you and creates chaos -- that's cooking, deep cleaning the house, having part time EA, etc. I know I am privileged to do this but it helps. C) When you feel like you're burning out - take a break. D) Do things that energize you, for me that's working out first thing in the morning, eating healthy, concluding things at 6pm and do things that relax you. E) Avoid alcohol, sugar, etc. And ensure you're getting great sleep each night

Here's how you can analyze sales data and make informed decisions using logical reasoning.
I've helped over 50 startups build their initial sales processes as an AE, consultant, advisor, or sales leader. The main issue is usually a lack of documentation. There's no record of their sales process or buying journey. I advise them to document past interactions, including meetings and emails, and timestamp everything. Using free tools like Fathom for call recording and email documentation can help automate this. Once documented, patterns emerge, allowing startups to proactively guide buyers and be consultative rather than reactive.

How do you use testimonials and case studies to boost your referral credibility and trust?
Case studies and testimonials in a tradional sense come off a bit boring to me and sometimes are extremely time consuming to create. One tactic I learned from my VP of Marketing a couple of years ago is get folks to educational webinars where they talk about their day-to-day and what's working, what challenges are they seeing at the present moment, and a small part of that webinar is about them endorsing or sharing their experience with your services and/or product. You'll get way more people joining those and the customer enjoys it much more, as well.

How do you use testimonials and case studies to boost your referral credibility and trust?
At the end of a positive experience, when you know you have gone above and beyond for the client, I asked them for a reference. Given most of my clients come through referrals, I ask them to leave me a LinkedIn recommendation so I can re-purpose and use that as needed.
