But here's the thing – most brands are only scratching the surface. The IAB Predicts Social Video Will Overtake CTV This Year. Social video “is taking more of a lead over CTV” because it provides better campaign reporting based on an advertiser’s preferred business outcomes, a capability that CTV lacks in comparison. Interesting article about why brands shouldn’t go dark during the election cycle. For us, interestingly it’s been more food and supermarket brands on Gourmet Ads that have opted to go dark this year whereas no brands on Healthy Ads. As omni/multichannel marketing becomes the norm, for the bright marketer, there's increased complexity in data attribution by virtue of higher volume of data and increased quantity of data streams. And each data stream comes with its own complexity, unique metrics, deprecation, organization, and lack/limitation of access.
